Stephen King is considered something of an expert when it comes to horror, but it seems that, for the author of It, nothing is scarier than Donald Trump.
Except for maybe his supporters.
In an interview with the Rolling Stone, King was candidly political, expressing dismay over the rise of Trump, as well as disappointment in the electorate that catapulted the former reality television star and real estate mogul into the Republican candidacy for president.
I am very disappointed in the country. I think that hes sort of the last stand of a sort of American male who feels like women have gotten out of their place and theyre letting in all these people that have the wrong skin colors. He speaks to those people. Trump is extremely popular because people would like to have a world where you just didnt question that the white American was at the top of the pecking order.(continued)

King has plenty of money for Bernie or Hitlery to take.
He’s worth more than $300 million.
I was in Bangor, Maine today. I drove down a road, and there was a detour because of road construction. The detour took us down a street of turn-of-the-century large homes, most of which once belonged to lumber barons more than a century ago. One of the homes was Stephen King’s home, a huge red house. It has a black wrought iron fence with iron spiders in front of it.
The only âGated Houseâ in all the âcommunityâ of rich folks in Bangor..its an eyesore...lol
He’s a racist jackass.
Well gee, Stephen, I got news for you. First, white apologists suck. Second, until recently, America was at the top of the pecking order, largely because of the innovation, creativeness, generosity and industry of Americans of a western European heritage on which this nation was largely founded (one of the few such countries existing in the world). Raised to believe opportunity to pursue dreams was there for the taking, unhindered by tribalism or totalitarian rulers, confident in the belief that man was endowed by his Creator with certain inalienable rights - rights that changed the face of the world. Maybe you could write a book about that.
Ever since he got hit by that car or pickup while riding his bike, there’s been something wrong with that boys medulla oblongata.
Why can’t Stephen King have the decency to die a gruesome public death for our entertainment? He owes us.
King must be on another planet. People are crossing the border illegally. They are letting themselves come in without the normal control America must have. Fool!
Lol!
Redtrump.
Redtrump.
A mean person would say, “Too bad they didn’t put it in reverse and back over him again.”
But I won’t go there. ;-)
Do you think Maine will go for Trump? Is there even the remotest possibility of that?
King hasn’t wrote anything good in decades.
Would you trust this guy with your sister?
Wow, another one of our betters not for Trump. Color me shocked.
funny, my mom is the staunchest Trump fan I know.... I guess she didn’t get the memo that he’s only for disgruntled white male voters.....
There’s really something terribly wrong with someone who could look those poor aggrieved parents in the eye and lie to them like that. It’s really qutie disgusting that she could even have a chance for potus after something that egregious.
Hillary’s never cared a wit about anyone but herself.
Where does Stephen King think 3rd world diseases come from?
Its the same grin a woman who has had a plastic surgery horrorshow done to her face...trying to make you believe they love what they had done and it’s your perception that’s out of line.
