That live performance shows just what a talent she was, it could have well been recorded and released as the single. And she filled out a pair of jeans nicely too ;-)

I actually heard that shortwave broadcast live.
When Radio Beijing came on an hour later, the announcer had changed, and they were toeing the government line.
I can hear her in my head, even without the video.
Never forget that song.

That was an interesting story. Fame isn’t an attraction for everyone.
She was quite the talent, taking the imagination of a michigan city boy down to the bayou. Pretty girl. Great story song, but the eye lashes crack me up.
