For those that hunt or into survival. This may be one of the easiest way to start a fire that I came across. The guy from Stephenson Prepper uses cotton ball, petrolium jelly and a flint with a scraper. See the fire starter video here. So what other easy ways do you all use to start a fire for survival?

Might be useful if you go white water canoeing in north Georgia. Particularly if you hear banjos.
Waxed matches. Always carry a baggie of lint from my dryer and a zippo in a sealed plastic container in my trunk.
Napalm works for me.

I prefer to use a lighter.
That said, the video above shows the wrist bracelet with the firesteel toggle interlocked with the steel washer/scraper. Maybe other people have better karma than I do, but I just know that combination would throw me a spark right at the worst possible moment, like when I'm pumping gasoline.
Some of the people on BushcraftUSA.com do some neat leather crafting to safely carry their firesteels, fire starting kits, bushcraft knives, axes, etc. Lots of good ideas there.
I’ve used a piston fire starter. Several plans on how to make one online.
A small bag of Fritos is good kindling. Easy to keep dry.
I was in a remote Mayan village one time. We were having trouble starting the fire to cook our meal. A local lady brought out a thin plastic bag (looked like a dry cleaning bag). It got the wood burning quickly. Since a camper is going to be wrapping things in plastic anyway, might as well put the used plastic to good use.
We use a match. :-). Just kidding we have a couple of those $5 firestrikers in our survival stores. They work great!

Both should be in your first-aid kit anyway.

And, by the way, it was a book written by a Georgia writer before it was a Hollywood movie. Appears that you watch movies instead of reading books.

Something that is very handy and works is the small disposable
alcohol wipes, they take up little space, are inexpensive, simply tear open and light. They don’t last long but are very hot and you can always use them to clean wounds and scrapes.
Still wouldn’t carry it

In my camp box, I keep five or six tea candles.
I carry a drinking straw as a fire bellows.
