While scanning an NYT election map of Democrat primary results, the outlook appears very promising for Mr. Trump. Here's the deal:
What do you think?

Not surprising. Hillary beats Bernie in Republican areas as Bernie’s too radical for those areas. The thing is, Trump is doing well in all areas of the country, and if the Bernie fans start voting for Trump, even Hillary may have to defend some blue states such as New York and Pennsylvania.
If Exit Polling and other polls are to trusted, and that a VERY big if, up to 15% of Bernie's supporters say they won't vote at all if Hillary's the nominee and another 15% say they'll vote for Trump.
I'm starting to believe that the democrats are going to pull something...don't know what...to get Hillary out and a more acceptable candidate in.
I see Bernie people as more hard core socialists and a bellwether of sorts. The northeast is heavily democrat; so more Bernie = more commies for the democrat, not less.
The only way to win where berie wins is to turn off as much democrat enthusiasm as possible, and having a big populist turnout.
A better comparison would be to include the number voting in each party’s primary. In states where millions vote in one party vs hundreds of thousands, it will be tough for the smaller party’s candidate to dominate.
Great news especially coming from the NYT (debunked today for its hit piece regarding Trump and his treatment of women)!!
I just pray that he gets to schlong Crooked Hillary and that she doesn’t choose Bernie for Veep. Moreover, I still fear Biden and Warren swooping in and reshaping the electoral calculations!!!
In addition to the frequently discussed Rust Belt states, I've heard some chatter about a couple of smaller New England states where he might have an opportunity. Connecticut and Rhode Island keep coming up as long shots, but possibilities.
If Trump wins New York, we're talking Reagan-like landslides.
Seems like some slaves want to remain on the plantation.
Not surprising. Hillary beats Bernie in Republican areas as Bernies too radical for those areas
It’s simpler than that. Hillary got the black vote and in the South that is 80%-90%+ of the Dem primary vote.
Legal non citizen immigrants and visa overstayers already vote at about 6%. Illegals will be herded to the polls and the federal courts along with the DoJ will be riding hard on the states to prevent them from any sort of voter ID or any questioning people whose faces have been seen before at polls. I am sure the NBPs will be stationed with their baseball bats and cudgels outside of many polls in the North and on the west coast. Their immunity last election guarantees they will be out in force this time.
I see this election as being officially counted for Mrs. Clinton whatever Democrat is finally put up no matter what the actual legitimate vote unless Trump takes an overwhelming share, probably two thirds at least, and the Democrats anticipate massive real and implicitly armed resistance when the chicanery is so obvious that the whole population sees it like bright lights and pyrotechnics.
I keep reading that California may even go for Trump. But in California illegals already vote legally. They are all registered when they get their drivers' licences or any other official paper and are allowed by law to vote in local and state elections. The registrars tell them that the ballots are no different from legal folks' ballots and they might as well vote the whole ballot, who will know?
It is the same in Chicago.
IF Trump is leading by double-digits in the late fall, he’ll win PA, OH and FL and maybe OR and WA.
NY is a stretch but I suppose anything is possible.
At the moment, it looks like a close race with Hillary having the upper hand.
landslide Trump.
New York would depend on turn out
Plus Trump has home field advantage of Hillary, Hillary is a transplant after all
And Upstate, the rust belt of NY, LOVES Trump
If the NYC Turnout is lower than expected because Hillary is umm, blah to them. And Upstate is energized to vote Trump, Trump wins NY and the election, period, end of story
If that nickname is sticking with a portion of hardcore leftists, then this is NOT a good sign for her. Trump is fearless, and he will drag ALL the dirty laundry out into the yard for all to see.
In a very odd way, I feel a sense of brotherhood for Bernie supporters. Not for their positions, of course, but for their rightly-held belief that the system is not working.
The populist rebellion worked in the R party, but not on their side. And they are NOT happy about it. The footage from the Nevada DNC convention is very telling about the state of D unity, and we're all singing in harmony by comparison.
NYC liberals will vote for just about any POS on the ticket. But lots won’t vote for Crooked Hillary.
The northeast is UNION country first, not necessarily Democrat country. The feeling is all around. Hillary is a Carpetbagger, terrible Senator, criminal, Benghazi . . .
Rank & File is for Trump, Bosses are in the tank for the Big D money, not the members. And the Bosses & Members know it.
Gun rights, Jobs, Military, TPP. Her Thighness is on the wrong side of all of these issues. The north eastern politicians know it.
NY, NJ PA, CT & Fl (an extension of the Northeast) all go Trump. Big. The people will beat back the devil in this one.
Of course, the kind of change they're talking about is a non-starter, but they get that we're on the wrong path.
Not so for Hillary supporters. They are the real loons. No one who is aware of the Clinton legacy can be excused. They all need sanity hearings.
Trump's message appears to have some resonance in the Bernie community. I don't rightly understand it. I can sympathize with Bernie supporters, but I could never vote for him.
Perhaps those who switch are voting against the Uniparty, which I suppose I can understand. Trump, who always seems to be ahead of the curve, is the only candidate on the R side who could even have imagined the opportunity to dig into their base. It will work to some degree. How much is an open question.
I found a relevant chart on Wikipedia of Union Affiliation by State. Sure enough, New York is on top in percent of Union employees.
That map tells me Trump will win Colorado. The college towns are in the north central part, and are Bernie strongholds. But Hillary should have won the southern part of the state. That is hispanic and union voters, more like Pennsylvania. If she can’t win there against Bernie, she can’t win against Trump.
