IMO the birth certificate was always somewhat of a red herring, albeit still a valid argument against Soetoro. The simple fact that Soetoro is a Socialist makes him constitutionally ineligible to hold elected office in America. Hitlery, the rest of the Dementocrats, and the GOP-e all believe in Socialism as well, which makes them constitutionally ineligible.
If we had someone with legal expertise push through this argument instead of the birth certificate argument, the entire Leftist movement in America would be destroyed overnight. The birth certificate argument would only apply to certain Democrats, and you would have to try them all under separate cases instead of just one.
Why is that? Serious question...
