Carly Fiorina Once Said 'Ted Cruz Cannot Possibly Beat Hillary Clinton' (to Me-Again! Kelly on FOX)

Back in December, a top Ted Cruz surrogate launched a sexist attack on Carly Fiorina, tweeting that Fiorina went “full vag” during a debate.

Steve Deace, an Iowa-based talk show host, not only endorsed Cruz but is also a prominent campaign surrogate for the Texas senator. Cruz has hailed Deace as “a truth-teller, a courageous conservative, and a powerful voice for liberty,” featured him in a campaign advertisement and added him to his Iowa leadership team.

Deace eventually apologized for the anti-Fiorina tweet, saying that his wife told him to.

When Fox News' Megyn Kelly asked Fiorina about Deace's comments, Fiorina noted that Deace “is more than a radio talk host, he is a major surrogate of Ted Cruz and a major endorser.”

“And this is why Ted Cruz cannot possibly beat Hillary Clinton,” Fiorina said.

In an interview weeks later, Fiorina said that “Ted Cruz is just like any other politician, he says one thing in Manhattan, he says another thing in Iowa, he says whatever he needs to say to get elected and then he’s going to do what he pleases.”

Today, Cruz will reportedly name Fiorina as his running mate in his foundering bid for president.

Carly Fiorina was never really a winner, money and being a female was used to gain in life: Under Fiorina’s leadership at HP, the company sold millions of dollars worth of printers and computer products to Iran through the foreign subsidiary, while U.S. export sanctions were in effect. In January 2004, Fiorina announced an agreement with Apple founder Steve Jobs for the iPod+HP—a co-branded iPod sold through HP’s retail channels. As part of the agreement, HP was forbidden from selling a competitor to the iPod. her successor Mark Hurd ended HP’s agreement with Apple, within days of taking office, a “highly symbolic decision” that was well-received as a return to innovation by HP. Under Carly Fiorina leadership, HP laid off 30,000 U.S. employees. One of the largest layoff in the United States history. Fiorina faced a backlash among HP employees and the tech community for her leading role in the demise of HP’s egalitarian “The HP Way” work culture and guiding philosophy, which she felt hindered innovation. Because of changes to HP’s culture, and requests for voluntary pay cuts to prevent layoffs (subsequently followed by the largest layoffs in HP’s history), employee satisfaction surveys at HP—previously among the highest in America—revealed “widespread unhappiness” and distrust, and Fiorina was sometimes booed at company meetings and attacked on HP’s electronic bulletin board. On February 9, 2005, she was forced to resign as Chief Executive Officer and Chair, after the company lost half of its value. HP board brought back Tom Perkins and forced Fiorina to resign as chair and chief executive officer of the company. The company’s stock jumped 6.9 percent on news of her departure, adding almost three billion dollars to the value of HP in a single day.

Fiorina was an adviser to Republican Senator John McCain’s 2008 Presidential campaign which lost.

Barbara Boxer overcame several hurdles to defeat Carly Fiorina in Senate race in California in 2010.

On May 4, 2015, Fiorina announced her candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination. She Failed to qualify for several prime-time debate slots.

Fiorina suspended her presidential campaign on February 10 2016 after failing to finish in the top five during the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary and saying that she is “horrified” by Donald Trump.

Fiorina endorsed Ted Cruz on March 11, 2016 after calling Cruz a liar and cheater

I am not a pure conservative myself. What I mean is, when I see an issue, I do not think "Gee, what is the conservative way to view this issue?". When people sometimes argue on FR about which of them is the "real" conservative, I never see the point in competing. Because it really becomes an argument as to how one defines the word.

While my conception of how to view moral and political issues is influenced more by conservative thinkers than leftwing "thinkers", that is because I find them more reasonable--not because I first identified them as "conservative" and then decided to attend them on that basis.

On each issue, I ask myself "What is the more reasoned and moral and best way to view this issue?". When doing so I usually find myself aligning with the right wing or conservatives. So in casual conversation with someone who has no idea of my views I will honestly say "I'm conservative", but I do not mean "Hey I am the real deal here" and those that disagree with me on some point are not the real deal. I simply am giving them where I roughly am on the spectrum of left and right.

I don't support Trump because I think he is "conservative", but because I think he is right on the big issues he has thought through and is focusing on (as opposed to issues he hasn't like abortion and bathroom preference). And because he is the kind that beats up the kid who beats up kids like Cruz to steal their lunch money.

Talking to someone who had no idea of Trumps ideology, like my friend in Australia, I might describe Trump as a "conservative" and suggest that if he were an Aussie he would be with the "liberal" party, which is the conservative party there....but I do not think this is a sign that I am delusional...but I suppose I could be so delusional I can't see how that this is such a sign...

Thank you for sharing. We need the self righteous vote where we can get it. At least you don’t intend to endanger our country by squatting on your porch in full pout and not voting.

FioRINO is in this only as the attack dog against Trump for a few weeks, to keep Cruz from looking like a whiner.

You are basing social issues as the only criteria for conservatism. Trump is much more conservative on other issues than Cruz. One size doesn’t fit all.

You are correct. It appears the Fat Guy is there to carry luggage or generally fill the Bundini Brown role in the campaign.

Trump has never been and never will be a conservative. He’s a populist who is saying what people want to hear. His message will change like the tides. Those who believe in him are fools. The Cruz followers aren’t much better. We are in deep doo doo. Delude yourself as you wish.

I am not big on calling people out for their religious hypocrisy. At all. BUT, Ted says he’s a SOUTHERN BAPTIST (Though many say he’s a “DOMINIONIST”, which his father---who has called Ted “The Anointed One”---claims to be; or even a Mormon, as he stood by while Glenn Beck recited Mormon-specific references, applying them to Cruz, That Cruz is the “raising of the priests” and the fulfillment of the “prophecy of the White Horse.” Or a Seventh Day Adventist, as his wife, Heidi, who has more than once referred to Ted as “The Face Of God.”)

I am Southern Baptist, raised that way. Let me tell you, Southern Baptist are very loosey goosey when it comes to what it accepts or allows in each affiliate congregation (for example, some can dance, some cannot.) BUT….THREE THINGS are not acceptable ANYWHERE to Southern Baptists: GAMBLING, DRINKING, and NOT TITHING:

(Today, Apri 27) During Carly Fiorina’s running-mate acceptance speech in Indianapolis, Fiorina described Cruz as a really fun dude who’s able to make last-second bets on exciting basketball games.
She revisited the final moments of that epic national title game between Villanova and North Carolina. Fiorina and Cruz were watching the game on the bus, and after Marcus Paige’s incredible 3, Cruz threw money on the table. – USA TODAY

On CNN’s Republican Presidential Townhall, Republican candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) told Anderson Cooper that he drinks alcohol “What is your favorite cocktail?” Cooper asked Cruz. “I am a scotch man,” Cruz responded. – CNN [PS---scotch is not a “cocktail; it’s a distilled spirit, a member of the whiskey family.]

According to recently released tax records, the Texas senator contributed less than 1 percent of his income to charity between 2006 and 2010. But many Christians believe that the Bible commands a charitable offering, or tithe, equal to 10 percent of one’s annual earnings. – The Atlantic

You are so full of BS. You sound like a Hillary supporter. Trump has been saying much of the same things since the 1980s. You are the one deluded. Go away troll!

Trump has been saying much of the same things since the 1980s.

Trump has also been supporting liberal politicians during that same period, including with many donations over the years, all on the record. How do you reconcile that fact. He uses his money and his influence to get the political outcome that he wants. The question is: what political outcome does he want this time around?

Check Fiorina and Muslims.
