UN resolution wipes away the focal point of ancient Jewish worship, the Temple of God
Fraught with deniers of every stripe, the latest and most egregious is UNre-E-unSCO (as in re-education, unscientific), whose UN resolution wipes away the focal point of ancient Jewish worship, the Temple of God, that graced Mt. Moriah in Jerusalem for 1000 years. Ludicrous as it seems, a body of 58 board members, evidently unschooled in ancient history, decided to clean the slate of time by rejecting the existence of a building proclaimed a wonder of the ancient world because of its extraordinary opulence.
Has UNESCO consulted the Encyclopedia Britannica about removing references to the Temple of Jerusalem? Doubtful. It will take more than a gang of international political hacks simply renaming the Temple Mount with latecomer muslim nomenclature to rewrite history. They seem to have set aside recorded accounts of Seleucid emperor Antiochus Epiphanes desecrating the Temple which led to the Maccabean uprising. Or the accounts of Titus destroying the Herodian Temple in 70 A.D. documented by Roman historians Suetonius and Tacitus, and witness to the siege, Flavius Josephus.1
US out of UN; UN out of US.

Maybe Jewish leaders should have done a better job of defending their Torah in the past instead of passing it off to chrstians as if it wasn't their fight.
Many in the Israeli government say the same thing.
They do so to stop a war. A war which will be coming no matter what.
This was a unilateral Resolution put forth by the terrorist Palestinian Authority, who this week is celebrating a terrorist attack by an Arab female that killed 6 Israelis 14 years ago. What kind d of a sadistic group celebrates the anniversary of committing murders? The PA obviously
But from what I read, Rabbinic sources state that the First Temple stood for 410 years (based on the 2nd-century work Seder Olam Rabbah.) That was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar.
The Second Temple was built by Herod the Great, but only lasted a little more than two lifetimes. It was still being completed, in its final details, when the Romans destroyed it in 70 AD.
So, the two temples don't add up to 1,000 years.
Can anybody post a reliable timeline concerning the two great Jewish Temples?
Pres. Reagan took us out of UNESCO and Pres. Bush put us back in around 2002.

The truth will come out, even if it’s at the Last Judgment.
The Temple Mount itself was one of Herod's projects.
That clears it up somewhat for me.
It's been years since I created that; almost forgot I still had it on my server...
My Dad (RIP) had that bumper sticker on his 58 Chevy back in about 1960.
What is today called the Temple Mount is the remnants of the old Roman fortress Antonia that housed many pagan temples, so why are the Jews hell bent on building a Temple to YHWH in the ‘high place’ where Solomon built the pagan temples for his wives, where the Romans built their pagan temples to their gods?
I know why, however, the vast majority, they have chosen the great delusion over His Truth. FYI, for there to be an ‘anti-Christ’ there must first be an anti anti-Christ, you know, the strawman the anti-Christ must destroy for the people to be deceived into following him.
It's all in the Good Book, ya’ll should spend more time with it rather than gorging on the propaganda of the anti-Christ.
Shalom
I guess the only UN approved “ethnic cleansing” is the elimination of Jews from the Land of Israel and the City of David.
The UN, pushing the progressive dream of a world of serfs, servicing and being ruled by a tiny elite.

United Nations March sounds like a circus march. Wonder why? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zb_uVg96gFw
