Unreal – Paul Ryan Schedules Party Leadership Fundraiser at Home of Anti-Trump Super-PAC Donor…
Conservative Treehouse ^ | April 12, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 04/18/2016 9:53:02 AM PDT by Beautiful_Gracious_Skies

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is heading up a National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) fundraiser in New York on April 25th. However, the venue of the fundraiser is raising some eyebrows:

For those who might not know, the “Ricketts Family” are the primary donors to a Super-PAC specifically created to block Donald Trump from winning the GOP nomination.

Billionaire family Joe and Marlene Ricketts, owners of the Chicago Cubs, have recently given $5,000,000.oo to Katie Packer who heads “Our Principles PAC“, an organization created exclusively to defeat Donald Trump. Katie Packer recently outlined what they are doing with the Ricketts money:

Moving forward, Our Principles PAC is organizing delegates and deploying a number of tactics with a goal of depriving Trump of as many delegates as possible in upcoming contests. OPP will focus on delegate wins, not individual state wins.

In addition, OPP will focus on states/districts electing unbound delegates to ensure those delegates are not supporting Trump on a first ballot and tracking candidates running for delegate in upcoming conventions to ensure that even if delegates are bound to Trump on early ballots, they move away on subsequent ballots. (link)

For Speaker Ryan to be heading up a fundraiser in the home of Donald Trump’s primary financial opponent/antagonist speaks volumes to the intent of the Republican Party when it comes to a unity approach. This is not being tone-deaf, this is transparently by design.

Back in 2008 the term “PUMA” was coined due to party shenanigans and insider manipulative efforts intended to block voices within the Democrat party. PUMA stand for “Party Unity My Ass“.

The message being sent by Paul Ryan is clearly one of antagonism toward Mr. Trump as the frontrunner of the Republican party. In addition, it is not a leap to see how this may be correctly perceived as Ryan positioning himself to be the nominee if Donald Trump can be successfully blocked at the republican party convention.

This is quite a significant poke in the eye.

Trump is a republican.
Check out his platform.

Oh and Kasich, the party's closeted (so to speak) pick is also a republican. Checkout his platform. (He's been endorsed by Arnold Schwarzenegger, another republican)

So tell us, what makes Kasich and Schwarzenegger, Foamie Rubio and Jebito Bush, Ben Carson ..... republicans but Trump not a republican, policy wise?

Remember: the GOP is a club, and we’re not in it. I think Trump is beginning to see just how ‘exclusive’ that club is.

Yeah! And dang, Trump used to think the Palm Beach elites hated Jews and Blacks in their private golf clubs when he steamrolled them into accepting that he was admitting Jews and Blacks into Mar a Lago when he took over .....now he's getting the old elite shunning treatment

Trump is a republican.

Sure he is, you just keep hoping that is true. And Bernie Sanders has a whole stable of magic unicorns that fart gold so everyone can be rich and drive race cars that are built by elves.

Trump's history is decidedly democrat, his so called conversion should be treated with the utmost cynicism. He has donated generously his whole life to democrats, he uses big government for personal gain and promises to more big government, his family and most of his staff are registered democrats, he likes single payer government run health care, supports gay privilege, and speaks more highly of democrats than republicans. He even bragged about how great a job Obama was doing on the run up to his reelection. He has failed at most of his business ventures and where he has had some success, it was largely due to a rigged advantage of tax payer subsidies that were not available to little guys like the voters.

Check out his platform.

Donald has some nice position papers and I am sure he will probably get around reading them one day. But he has a lot on his reading list including the Constitution, any book on American history, the Bible especially the part where the two Corinthians walk in to a bar and build a wall to keep out the Mexicans and the Chinese. Plus his position papers do not have a place for him to color in pictures. No one will be more surprised than Trump at what his positions were, it will be such a hoot he will probably punch someone with his little hands all clenched into a fist like a clementine orange and then tweet how he was the victim of a rigged system that did not let him vote on his own platform.

At best Trump has what is called a flexible platform, his positions change to suit the situation to whatever gives him the greatest personal advantage.

It seems he is much more accomplished at stirring up the angry and the ignorant than at anything that could be considered proper governance, but then that is what Democrats do best!

Great idea for Pennsylvania.

Now we probably need poll-watchers too.

It is strongly suspected that party operatives have been cheating the way to victory in a few states. This is unrelated to the voterless delegate selection.
Maine cheated in 2012 & 2014 elections.
Maine was a stolen win for Cruz.

I’m going to add a note about this on my postcards to Ryan.

“Ricketts? Really? So much for Party Unity.”

Thanks for posting the rest of the story.

SECRET DONOR MEETING - RYAN-

The Observer can now report that Todd Ricketts, the co-owner of the Chicago Cubs who is also the son of the founder of Ameritrade, is arranging a MEETING of some of the GOP’s top financial BUNDLERS, to be attended by MR. RYAN.

The meeting is to take place next week at the Mandarin Hotel and will be comprised of a discussion with “twenty or so” Republican donors, including Mr. Ricketts and several people he has raised money with before, such as Randy Kendrick, the wife of Arizona Diamondbacks owner Ken Kendrick.

Amen to that.
Lots of phony opportunistic christians using your faith as a path to their success.

I place Cruz firmly in that class.

You’re correct. Not a thing we can do but point this out to others.

All we may do is bring sunlight to the issue and let the readers reach their own conclusions. Illuminate their deceit and misdeeds.

Just like the phony-baloney voter-less caucuses.

Let the people understand what has just happened to them.

Would you have access to the 2012 PA Delegates including the alternates, and can you cross-check the names?

Often that is rather telling.

It seems that the precinct meeting for the—

Precinct captain, to vote for the—

Committeeman/gal, to vote for the —

DELEGATE, and go to vote for the—

Candidate— is just a silly series of dramas when

They already back pocket delegates pre-selected

For a pre-slated chosen candidate like BUSH, ROMNEY or RYAN.

I got an email from Ryan today trying to get money.

I wrote him back that I would send money to Trump but do not trust Ryan since he is having a fundraiser with anti-Trump scoundrels.

And I said if he continued to mess with Trump I would withdraw from the Republican party.
