Oh, bull crap.

Cruz's "character issues" are manufactured by Trump and his supporters here and elsewhere. This "article" is a case in point.

Cruz has been, continues to be, and always will be conservative.

Ya'll really ought to make up your mind; one day we hear "it doesn't matter if Trump is conservative or not, he'll give the GOPe 'what for'!!!"

The next day...."O.K., conservatism is important, but, but, but Cruz isn't really conservative because x, y, z."

We kick conservatism to the curb, here on FR, to support Trump, at our own peril.

Did I get a bit close to the truth? Why did he pay Carley $500K? Simple question should be a simple answer?

Cruz has accepted millions of dollars from homosexual activists and told them he would not attempt to reverse the US Supreme Court decision on sodomite “marriage”. Cruz was for blanket amnesty in the Bush administration and was RINO little George’s point man on amnesty. Cruz was for TPP. Cruz is owned by Wall Street. His wife has been an insider for years and is owned by Wall Street. On top of that the canuck is no more a natural born American citizen than Winston Churchill was, who’s mother was an American from NYC. Cruz’s records, from his eligibility records to his college transcripts are sealed. Now who that sound like? www.tedbush.org

Cruz's "character issues" are manufactured by Trump and his supporters here and elsewhere.

Cruz is a pathological liar and can easily be proved as such. Here's an example: Did Cruz lie or did he tell the truth when he claimed he never supported legalization of illegals?

Cruz supported legalization during the gang of eight fight, after the fight was ALREADY over by September of that year to the Texas Tribune, and he supported it as recently as March 2015. And then for 9 months, Cruz refused to answer questions when specifically asked about whether he supported legalization of illegals or deportation. Instead, he told people like Chuck Todd that there would be a "conversation" about what to do with people already here after he is elected and has "secured the border."

These are undeniable facts about Cruz's record of statements on the matter. I can provide documentation for all of it.

It is beyond any reasonable doubt that when Cruz claimed in December that he did not support legalization at any point in his past, he was lying his ass off.

And then Cruzers claim that Cruz has never lied, but only because they deliberately remain ignorant about everything he says or does.

Cruz has been, continues to be, and always will be conservative.

Is he really conservative on immigration and trade? He has had a foxhole conversion on these issues during the campaign.

I for one am tired of being played by "conservative politicians" who say all the right things using buzz words like the Constitution, low taxes, individual rights, etc., but who are really big government types controlled by their corporate paymasters and special interests.

I don't trust Cruz. He is your typical politician saying what you want to hear and he parses words in Clintonian fashion. He is just another Ivy League lawyer who feels superior to everyone else and has spent the vast majority of his working life in politics feeding at the public trough. Do we really need another ambitious, first term senator with very little executive experience in the WH? Is he really an outsider as he avers? Or is he a member of the political class manipulating and deceiving the public as is the wont of the elites?

On the issues of great importance this election cycle (immigration, trade, jobs and security) Trump is the most conservative candidate running. “Me too” Ted has tried to steal Trump issues, but “me too” Ted is not credible since “me too” Ted had to flip flop on immigration and trade to get to where Trump is. Everyone else is a GOPe uniparty pimp.
