There’s official policy and there’s unofficial policy. The Church may not accept gay marriage, but it has looked the other way for most of the last two generations at gay priests.

Not happening. In 1950 The Catholic Church and all mainline Protestant Churches rejected same sex marriage sexually active gay clergy female clergy divorce and remarriage. Now the Catholic Church stands alone on this matters. It will continue as such forever.
