As the media seeks to keep a story alive, with the help of Republican establishment figures, and the likes of Mark Levin, the odds of a Brokered Convention are evaporating as more analysts show Trump is on track to get 1310 delegates, making him the nominee, regardless of who is on the second ballot.
Even if Trump fails to hit 1237, his team and John Kasichs are now blocking Ted Cruz, and other groups are destroying any chance of a brokered convention.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich got fewer votes than Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in the states presidential primary last month, but his Michigan delegation may have more influence at the national convention than Cruzs camp after forming an alliance with Donald Trumps campaign.
Kasichs delegates teamed up Saturday with supporters of GOP frontrunner Donald Trump to deny Cruzs Michigan delegates any seats on the four committees that will decide the parameters of the Republican National Convention in July.
Michigans 59 national convention delegates met Saturday after the conclusion of the Michigan Republican Partys state convention to elect eight representatives to four powerful committees that decide voting credentials, presidential candidate nominating rules, the partys platform and convention operations.
Each state or territory gets two representatives on the committees one man and one woman at the of the July 18-21 convention in Cleveland.
Trumps campaign was represented by his 25 delegates, while Cruz and Kasich had 17 delegates apiece, based on how the nominating delegates were awarded in the March 8 primary. Even Mitt Romneys niece is supporting Trump:
Michigan Republican Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel said Thursday she will pledge her national delegate vote to presidential front-runner Donald Trump since the New York billionaire won last months primary.
So how does Trump get to 1310? Easy:

If they hand the nomination to someone other than Trump, and he runs 3rd party, will this be the lurch to a 3 party system?
The problem is the Trump support is such a mishmash, I don’t think it would transfer into a full blown party. Really the Clinton/Jeb establishment could easily morph into the same party, and then the other 2 parties would be the Bernie socialist party and the tea party, for lack of a better name.
We are buzzing around this possibility, but what we really need is for Bernie to run AND Trump to run along with Hillary and whoever the GOPe throws out there.
I used to say a multiple party system would be a disaster, but this car is already in the ditch...might as well light it on fire and get a new car and see what happens.
Wouldn’t it be funny as hell if Trump used the gopE BETTER than Cruz used them?
What country is that? Macedonia?
We need to take up a collect to buy em some new shovels, they have worn out the Chinese ones Trump gave em.
1310? Why stop there, why not brag 1800 while making wild eyed baseless claims?
Yeah and even some more.
State of Stupor.
Vet - did this make you miss a stoke?
