The most recent propaganda angle with Team Trumpster has been that 'a vote for Cruz is a vote for an open convention in Cleveland... where the 'Establishment' is going to ram-through Paul Ryan on the 2nd ballot.
'So you gotta vote for Trump- don't you see?'
Except that Paul Ryan is running out of ways to say 'I'm not running'.
Yes, the strategy in gaining his current position as Speaker of the House was 'Aw shucks, I'm not interested'... waiting until the demands for him grew louder and wider... then -reluctantly, of course- accepting the will of the people and a powerful new seat.
But he was prepared for that position, and for the Speaker's chair he faced weak competition anyway, with no real challenger to worry about- with the GOP primary contest, it's another story entirely: Ted Cruz will go into Cleveland with a whole lot of delegates, perhaps a # closely approximating -even exceeding- Trump's total by then.
Ted Cruz's path to pre-Clevo 1237 is admittedly a narrow one- but it does exist. Trump on the other hand is facing imminent defeat in Wisconsin which should all but guarantee he's going to the convention while short of the mark..
When Trump goes down on the first ballot, it's all over - and a whole lot of his delegates are going to bail on him. I'm sure there's no shortage of people in early-voting states that regret supporting Agent Orange already and who would be delighted to avoid a lifetime of guilt by it going some other way now.
And forget Trump hints of '3rd party run' now that he's dropped his pledge to support the GOP nominee...

Cruz is reduced to working the smoky back rooms and the Godfathers who run them to try and raid Trump of his delegate lead.
Poor Cruz, running a Spin Campaign to bypass the vote of the people who continue to make Trump their frontrunner.

No. They will sit there and whine that NY is liberal that they are not conservative, that NY shouldn’t be part of the delegate selection process. They can whine all they want, but Trump will still walk away with almost all of the 95 delegates NY awards.
And I am thinking that Cruz’ position on abortion is moot - unless he has some guaranteed way to overturn Roe v Wade.....
Practically speaking, the only way that changes is stacking the court and that will take multiple presidencies in my opinion.
BTW, I am against abortion also.

Dominionism is only the practical application of orthodox Christianity in obeying God’s command to man in Genesis chapter 1 to exercise dominion over the earth. That order has not been rescinded. Don’t have a cow, Cruz is Baptist and he actually knows his Bible, unlike Mr. “Two Corinthians” who “reads the Bible more than anyone.”

Do you really believe that the GOP Establishment will hand the nomination to Cruz if Trump does not win on the first ballot?
Here's what will really happen:
1) The Establishment will hand the nomination to a designated loser. They're fine with not having the White House, if the outcome leaves their perks secure.
2) Hillary wins.
3) Hillary pays back her feminist supporters by making ALL hospitals have to offer abortion services as a condition of receiving any federal funding.
4) Meanwhile the demographic shifts in the population guarantee that no conservative will ever win again.
GLoBALISM is NOT CONSERVATISM! Cruz is a globalist, proven so! Trump is a Nationalist, America First! I love America and will vote ONLY FOR TRUMP!

I don’t give a flip what the GOPe does. I am voting for the protection of the unborn. That is how I honor Christ. Cruz has the best platform and is the best prepared for that. How other people SIN is not my concern.

Yes we all will answer to God and it is through the court we must stop the murders. Cruz was friends with Roberts he wrote a glowing op- ed on him. How did that work out? I will never trust Cruz .
