I did see that part where she insisted that something was too "private" and he tried to convince her that they needed it. I don't really condemn him for that, but I will say this: Ted does NOT know how to read a room.

I'm reminded of a story from the late 60's (?) about a man who advertised in the pages of Popular Science magazine a "Sure Fire Kill for Cockroaches", only $4.95, thousands of people responded, mailing in $4.95 only to have shipped to them two wooden blocks, one with an "X" in the middle, and the following instructions:

"place cockroach on 'x', slam other block down"

A significant lawsuit was filed, and the judge ruled that the purveyor of the "Sure Fire Kill for Cockroaches" had not deceived anyone and had in fact delivered the product.

That same technique could be used for trolls today, and we can bring our own blocks! LOL
