Thank you for being a Donald Trump supporter in Massachusetts and helping us deliver one of the largest margins of primary victories in the country! But our work is not done. In fact, it is just beginning. We must ensure that Mr. Trump receives the delegates he earned in Massachusetts and we need your help on Saturday, April 30th to elect delegates that will represent your vote in Cleveland.
On Saturday, April 30th, nine congressional district caucuses will take place across Massachusetts to elect delegates to the 2016 Republican National Convention. Will you caucus and help us elect the Trump slate of delegates? To vote, you must have been a registered Republican in Massachusetts as of February 10, 2016.
Wow... just wow.
No, that is not the case. Only some of the delegates were chosen in the primary. Others will be chosen in the district caucuses. It is the same for ALL candidates in Massghanistan (and in some other states as well).
How does the delegate picking work in MA? In IA you had to be registered to go to state convention weeks ago. Can anyone still sign up?
It says, “ We must ensure that Mr. Trump receives the delegates he earned in Massachusetts”
I believe it is 9 delegates.. He earned all 9 on March 1st.
WTF!
Just checked, any person registered as a Republican before Feb 10, 2016 can go to the district caucus and ether vote or run for the Convention delegates. They don’t seem to be at very big places so it seems they are not expecting a lot of people.
It says you have to be registered republican as of 2/10/16...
This is sickening! Why in the hell does one have to convince some person to HONOR the will of the people?
Mark Twain was right... If voting truly mattered, they would not let us do it.
He has to win the voters and he has to win the heart/mind of delegates picked by the party
Delegates picked by the party could override the will of the people
He has to win the voters and he has to win the heart/mind of delegates picked by the party

Again, he has win twice. What a shame.
It’s just the way that Massachusetts does primaries. Nothing strange or nefarious about it. Some states have primaries, some have caucuses. Massachusetts is a little bi-polar or something and couldn’t make up it’s mind which type they wanted, so they have both. Half the delegates are chosen via primary, and half via caucuses.
Kasich & Rubio won 8 each
Cruz won 4
Sounds like it will be deciding who the delegates are, not how they will vote in the first round. So it sounds like it is important to ensure the delegate that will support Trump regardless of the number of rounds take place at the convention that they stick with Trump and not go over to someone else. That is what it sounds like to me at least.
I think you’ve got it right.
Finally, I was due, LOL.
Ping!

Bunch of crap. In 2012, Romney didn’t have to do this. Did McCain? Reagan? Bush? What a crock this primary is. The GOPe is such a bitter organization.
The backstabber Romney and his toad, the Governor Baker,
have set this up to allow the Bishop to STEAL what
he cannot win. Thieves, they are.
You are soooo right! Again, WTF! My confidence is in a man who is self-made. AND no one is more self-made than Trump. I believe is extremely aware on this steal and will have the necessary ammunition to combat the GOP.
Hopefully the RNC convention this year will be the last RNC convention ever.
