There’s a VA facility near my home and I pass by it about three times each week on the long runs I use to keep my body from stagnating as I grow older and achier. Seeing our American flag waving from a tall pole near the entrance to the veterans’ complex always puts a little bounce in my step. So I’m chugging by it last week wearing a sweat-stained PT shirt emblazoned with a replica of the Vietnam Service ribbon when a guy limping toward the entrance and leaning on a cane spots me. He smiles, waves and points to his own shirt that features a map of Vietnam and declares “we were winning when I left.” That got me thinking about the war that shaped me as it did so many of my generation now contemplating their mortality as a result of age rather than enemy action.

We were winning Iraq too when Obama left. He betrayed everyone who relied on us, everyone who aided us and everyone who fought along side our forces. They were all stabbed in the backs and fed to our enemies by Obama and Clinton.

We were winning in VN until Dems decided they should be buying votes rather than providing armaments for SVN. we lost 58K+, the SVN lost 3MM and a lot of the rest went to POW camps for upwards of 15 years (first hand accounts).
This betrayal is probably the root of my hatred for Democrats. And the damn fools actually think they saved lives.
They've got the blood of two million Cambodians on their hands.

We were winning, only to be betrayed by the cowards and Hanoi Lobbyists back at home. It happened again in Iraq.

We will never apologize for serving there in many capacities and we will never stop trying to bring out the truth about our successes in Vietnam.
The fight for the truthful history of the Vietnam War is now well engaged and we are in it for the duration.
