The news report goes back in time documenting US history of international trade agreements starting from the time of Reagan administration who proposed a North American Common Market to current history.
Fast Forward to November of 2004 when the Independent Task Force on the Future of North America is formed. Their focus is no longer trade and prosperity but security. Three private groups headed by the Council of Foreign Relations(CFR) and their respected organizations in Canada and Mexico.
They claim in their own words North America is vulnerable on several fronts: the region faces criminal and terrorist security threats, increased economic competition from abroad, and uneven economic development at home.
The CFR taps the wife of Ted Cruz to become a member of the task force. Heidi Cruz accepts.

Am I concerned about anti-Trump conspiracy theories? Of course I am not concerned about them. Why would I be? I don’t pass them along, but it isn’t my job to dispel the mafia rumors etc, and neither is it Ted Cruz’s responsibility.
I have no idea what you are rambling about concerning Ted Cruz ‘wandering’ from Christianity or the ‘settled science’. Whatever the hell that means. I have seen no such thing, and even if what you said was true, I find it baffling and laughable that you would become a Trump supporter because honesty was your benchmark. I could name multitudes of lies that Trump has said, and I am still waiting for one of you Trumpkins to identify the Ted Cruz lies that are insinuated and vaguely referenced.
Finally, Trump hasn’t even started to be ‘vetted’ properly. At least in as much the democrat nominee will surely grasp every minute, dirty, philandering, law suit ridden, policy flip-flopping segment of the man’s life, whether it be true or not, and there is plenty that is true to be concerned about. Ted Cruz has been a gentleman for the most part, and has stayed above the sewer dwelling that is indicative of Trump’s tactics, but a Clinton campaign will get right down with him, have the media on her side, just like she would do to any GOP nominee.

Cruz has been "involved" in some crappy/slimy dealings along the way which belie his claims of being so Holy and righteous" a Christian (per some of his campaign statements).
He made comments about how Trump can be "at least partially blamed" for the Left-Wing instigated violence at his rallies which might indicate he agrees with Obama and Hillary when they claim we (and non-existent videos) are really a big cause of the slaughtering of innocents by the Muzzies who hate us - doesn't seem to be consistent with his own interpretation of the 1st Amendment when he can leverage an inane statement like that.
He chastised Trump for "Rhetorical invective" because he made the true statement that Islam hates us - then he tries to talk tough on Islam.
The slimier attacks may not have come from him personally but he didn't try to reign anyone n because he could leverage the slime - then act all indignant when Trump threatened a quid-pro-quo. Funny how he can get all het up if someone threatens the name/honor of his wife but he doesn't recognize that the person was just reacting to an already accomplished attack on his own wife - hypocrisy anyone?
There are many indicators that Cruz ain't who he purports to be but some ain't interested or smart enough to see them even as they splat and splash all over the place.
