Maybe we should just designate to each party 4 or 8 years in the White House.The big elections will be saved for Congress who exercise their power of funding. Foreign policy will be run by the military. SCOTUS should have a mandatory retirement to cut down on croaking. Substance is now missing. It's all about style and gift-of-the-gab flash. Clinton had it but he was an accomplished Gov. Enough of this crap. We are being played like a fiddle.

After this upcoming cluster known as the GOP Convention, if you delicate snowflakes can’t cheerfully support the winner, Cruz or Trump, no matter how much you claim to hate either one of them now, then go to hell. If we are not on the same team in November, then there never was a team and we were soundly beaten long ago. Remember that after the votes are counted.
Should the GOPe dare to ignore us and put somebody else in the running, then God have mercy on them because we surely will not.

I often feel the same way. Still want trump and Cruz to get together
But will vote for either . Even if, as Ben Carson likes to say, trump stays in office four years
Cruz is a good conservative. However, his appeal is restricted to evangelicals and conservatives. He will lose in a heartbeat to Hillary because he can't attract a broad spectrum of voters. This is always the failure of conservatives. Their message good but they just can't scrape enough votes together to win.
You can't win in November, if you can't win in March.
My personal bet is Ryan/Bush.
