THIS IS GETTING STUPID

Posted on 03/25/2016 7:36:32 AM PDT by DIRTYSECRET

4 YEARS OF OBAMA AND ALL WE CAN DO IS offer up Romney. 8 years and it's come to this. Even the Democrats are stuck with what they got. Maybe we should just designate to each party 4 or 8 years in the White House. The big elections will be saved for Congress who exercise their power of funding. Foreign policy will be run by the military. SCOTUS should have a mandatory retirement to cut down on croaking. Substance is now missing. It's all about style and gift-of-the-gab flash. Clinton had it but he was an accomplished Gov. Enough of this crap. We are being played like a fiddle.

Example/anology: It’s 4th and inches. Everyone on their feet. Run up the middle for no gain. Measuring stick brought in. Did he make it? All the cameras are focused. Even more drama building up and who benefits? Its Kragen. You see it on the measuring stick. It could be Ted Baxter now.

This is far beyond "getting stupid." I was reading Isaiah 59 this morning, and it describes the wreckage of a nation and people unable to deal with their sin, which lead it to not being truthful; unable to dispense justice because of their nonexistent relationship with God-- it speaks to our present condition.

Our spiritual condition is on par with a nation having lost its former glory, being subjected to the authority of foreign invaders (that is the context of Isaiah 59). Our future is this: will be ruled by foreigners unless we have national repentance.

Which candidate is the best possibility to lead us to national repentance? Something to think about. We can continually jack each other up, but God is not mocked. His Word is settled.

We can’t vote for Ted. There are too many closets in the WH.

The most logical solution was handed as a gift to the political class by Trump. The best thing both political parties could do is take a four-year time out and develop some leaders.

I’m not voting for their wives. If so are we voting for Melania Trump? What is her platform? She isn’t even eligible as she was naturalized in 2006.

When Ben Franklin was in France he was asked what kind of government he had in America. Franklin replied: “a Republic if we can keep it.”

The problem is the stupid two party system. There is absolutely no reason, except for outdated and useless tradition, for there to be two parties.

You didn’t hear? Ted boinked 9 women and one trannie.

it was 12 total. The 9 were at the same time and Kasich was underneath Ted coaching him. Now they are saying that the whole 'snake handler' thing about Cruz wasn't just a thing about him looking spooky that way, but there were actually snakes in the bed and they were coming out of Cruz's nose.

It's totally 'Ewww' and Trump has said if he were president there wouldn't be snakes coming out of his nose. He said he also thinks some illegals and possibly terrorists have arrived though the US through Ted's nasal caverns and one of the women, Linsey, said he slept with some of them thinking they were good people but just misguided.

This country has lost its collective mind. The end of America as we knew it. Whodda thunk we’d bring down the country ourselves.

The founders, Abraham Lincoln and other leaders of our country have always understood our greatest threat is our own stupidity and wickedness.

This country is approaching the ‘too stupid to live stage’.

I have never before envied those friends and relatives who are ignorant about current affairs, especially politics. I do now.

I am disgusted by the gutter-level antics of the candidates and the slimy party machinations on the Republican side. I am wholly appalled by the fascists, socialists, precious snowflakes and violent protestors on the democrat side.

What was that old ad? Calgon, take me away!

I now have no candidate.

I used to support Cruz, but would have gladly voted for Trump in the general election if he was the GOP nominee.

Cruz really lost me when he criticized Trump for the Chicago rally riots, rather than show outrage for a fellow Republican having his 1st amendment rights taken away.

And now this wife thing, back and forth. Both candidates are running such vile, despicable campaigns, and the supporters of both candidates here on Free Republic (a place I used to come to draw solace from my like minded conservatives) are so mean-spirited and vitriolic, that I can no longer vote either candidate in good conscience.

I am so angry. And so sad. My country is dead.

I will not be voting this year.

You’re right about it not being done.

It’s looking doubtful thatrump can secure the 1237 needed but he may.

It’s highly unlikely that Cruz can collect 80% of the delegates remaining to secure the nomination.

Draw from that what you will. It is looking like a contested convention is where we are headed, and we will get Romney/Ryan all over again.

You need to add this guy to your list. He’s a biggie.

Heidi Cruz was:

“SPECIAL” Assistant to Ambassador Robert B. Zoellick? Do you know WHO he is??? Mitt Romney put Zoellick on his team and caught great criticism over it but we didn’t hear about that through Fox or any one else now did we! Google it!! Just type in Romney and Robert B Zoellick. Its there!!

So WHY would Heidi be a “special assistant” to him of ALL people? Is this a lawyer doing the work of a lawyer? Hardly, there is an agenda here.

TASK FORCE MEMBERS: HEIDI S. CRUZ is an energy investment banker with Merrill Lynch in Houston, Texas. She served in the Bush White House under Dr. Condoleezza Rice as the Economic Director for the Western Hemisphere at the National Security Council, as the Director of the Latin America Office at the U.S. Treasury Department, and as Special Assistant to Ambassador Robert B. Zoellick, U.S. Trade Representative. Prior to government service, Ms. Cruz was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan in New York City.

– (This information is prior to the economic crash, during the Bush administration.)

http://www.cfr.org/…/building-north-american…/p8102

“Special Assistant to Robert Zoellick” what did that mean?

“Robert Bruce Zoellick is a former U.S. trade representative, deputy secretary of state, president of the World Bank, and vice chairman of Goldman Sachs (2006-2007). As U.S. trade representative, Zoellick played a key role in the passage of the Central American Free Trade Agreement, the U.S.-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, the Jordan Free Trade Agreement, and the restoration of fast track negotiating authority via the Trade Act of 2002.

He was also a top U.S. negotiator during the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) negotiations that lead to the formation of the World Trade Organization (WTO).””U.S. Trade Representative Prior, Zoellick was appointed United States Trade Representative and assumed office on February 7,

2001. As a member Bush’s Cabinet, he served with the rank of Ambassador. Zoellick is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as the Trilateral Commission, and was one of the signers of the January 26, 1998, Project for the New American Century (PNAC) letter to President William Jefferson Clinton.[10][11]

Zoellick completed negotiations to bring China and Taiwan into the World Trade Organization (WTO), developed a strategy to launch new global trade negotiations at the WTO meeting at Doha, shepherded Congressional action on the Jordan Free Trade Agreement and the Vietnam Trade Agreement, and worked with Congress to pass the Trade Act of 2002, which included new Trade Promotion Authority.[12]

In an October 2007 speech to the National Press Club, Zoellick stated that “we are working with our Board to significantly step up our assistance to the international efforts to address climate change. At our upcoming Annual Meetings and at the UN Climate Change Conference in Bali this December, I hope to outline a portfolio of ways the World Bank Group can help integrate the needs of development and low carbon growth.

We need to focus particularly on the interests of developing countries, so that we can meet the challenge of climate change without slowing the growth that will help overcome poverty.[22]

And you’re surprised? The only reason this is a big thing is that the media is trying to get the GOP candidates to look like they are so sleazy that the voters will vote for either a lying, treasonous, liberal woman (Clinton), or a self described socialist (Sanders).

Take a look at what is hitting the airways. Cruz and Trump attacks on each other. Meantime Hilary is being investigated by the FBI and CIA for treason, and possible espionage for the emails she shipped and ones they have that she was instructing her subordinates how to bypass the security systems to move sensitive info. A presidential candidate is in this deep and it isn’t even on page 105 of any paper or channel.

It’s out there. It just isn’t going to be presented by a liberal media trying to get another non-conservative elected through smoke and mirrors (lies and misreporting). Welcome to corruption.
