Ireland: The Chieftains (Irish pop/trad music, full album): The Chieftains
Scotland (short music video): Wicked Tinkers with Craig Ferguson
Wales: from the movie How Green Was My Valley: Cym Rhondda (Breath of Heaven)
And Communist. You forgot that part.
Every single Celtic national movement in existence at this point in time and for at least two centuries has been left wing/socialist/Communist. Every single one: Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Breton, Manx, and Cornish.
All the Irish Republican organizations are Communist (what's left of the original Sinn Fein, now known as the Workers Party, is an avowed Marxist-Leninist organization. And the same goes for the other Irish republican organizations: the Provisionals (Sinn Fein), Republican Sinn Fein (front of the Continuity IRA, 32 County Sovereignty Movement (front of the Real/True/Dissident/New IRA), and the Marxist-Leninist Irish Republican Socialist Party (front of the Irish National Liberation Army). You will not fine ONE Irish or other Celtic nationalist organization that is not firmly ensconced on the Left. Even the Social Democratic and Labour Party in Northern Ireland shares the "democratic socialist" ideology.
And Theobald Wolfe Tone (after whom the group in the video is named) was a G-dless atheist Jacobin who hated George Washington and the United States of America.
What is it with conservatives and this romance with the Celts???
> And Communist.
They are now. Assuredly.

“rebel” songs are rebel songs.
They are now. Assuredly.
And since at least the Jacobin-backed United Irishmen. So why imply support for them?

rebel songs are rebel songs.
What about Black and Hispanic "rebel songs?" Do Celts have special permission to be Commies?
My daughter spent a Spring Break in Ireland. She was amazed at the liberalism and the epic amount of drinking that occurred. It appeared like everyone was on vacation all the time.
You’re reading far to much into this post. I am not nor am I implying support for commies. If you don’t like the music don;’t listen to it.
I like Irish music as much as the next person, but I don't understand why any conservative would invoke such a group as "Wolfe Tone."
Perhaps because they have a large catalog of music?
Pick a fight somewhere else.
