Tensions ran high at a Donald Trump rally here the day after the Republican front-runner canceled a Chicago appearance amid violent protests, but Trump and his supporters werent discouraged, blaming his detractors for disturbances at his events.
In Chicago Friday night, Trump cancelled a rally that had hundreds of protesters clashing with supporters, leading to several violent skirmishes. In Ohio the next day, thousands turned out to see Trump at two events, and mostly they blamed the protesters, saying the candidate was not at fault.

Neither Donald Trump nor his supporters are deterred...no surprise there.
Neither Donald Trump nor his supporters are wimps; unlike their RINO counterparts.
We are going to find out Tuesday night whether or not America has the toughness and the will to fight back against a despotic government and the Leftist brownshirts.
Or if a feminized America decides it’s “not worth the trouble” - “Trump is a mean man” and takes the easy way out and submits to tyranny.
It is indeed a time for choosing.
“If you don’t elect Obama, we gonna riot!”
If you don’t re-elect Obama, we gonna riot!”
If yo elect Trump, we gonna riot!”
Beginning to see a reoccurring theme here. The congress is dearly afraid of them, but we -as Americans - must refuse to cave to mob rule.
The rioters never get blamed by the media, always the ones who didn’t give them their way.
The way it is going on FR these days, the AMs are going to be ready to go when President Trump amends the libel laws to make it illegal to tell “lies” about President Trump.
BTW, in this context “lies” is defined as anything that is bad for Donald Trump.
No offense but you sound like a real crybaby. Do you have blinders on?
The Bolshevik thugs are only helping Trump. He will use these incidents to bring more support. I hope Soros’ scumbags keep it up!
That Chicago incident couldn’t have been more useful if it had been planned. It will be all Trump, all day, every day thanks to that-right up until the 15th. If it bleeds, it leads.
If Trump tries this, he will see a backlash.
He is riding on the back of a tiger.
He knows (or should know) that the same people who vote for him can just as easily turn on him.
It is good to keep politicians on their toes. Let them know they work for US.
Personally, I don’t think Trump is that stupid that he would try this. But if he does, we have already proven that we have the power to turn things around on those who seem to think they are our betters. Trump had better not get too full of himself.
All I know is that, after 16 years on FR, suddenly all of my posts are being moderated, and my account is “too new” for me to access mail.
So, you think Trump is going to keep all his promises except this one?
What about his promise to increase H1B Visas by 400%? Will he fail to keep that one, too?
So, how does this work? Donald Trump is only going to keep the promises you like, and ignore all the others?
I do not understand this attitude, that after Donald Trump destroys the country, we can nuke the whole site from orbit, so it’s all cool, y’know...
I don’t know what Trump will do or not do.
He seems like a wildcard to me.
However, I take comfort in 2 things.
1. Trump is not stupid.
2. If it turns out Trump is stupid he will find out from the people that he is not wanted or needed. He will be unceremoniously dumped.
That’s rather histrionic.
The country is already in deep, deep trouble and we are headed for some hard times.
NO ONE currently running for office of President is going to change that fact.
They are setting this up for race riots in Cleveland this summer, riots so bad that they will make Chicago ‘68’look like child’s play.
Kasich is gambling that he will be called on to quell the riots. Trump is playing right into their hands.
At this moment I’m at the pre Trump’s rally in Boca Raton....starts at 7
