Is Senator Ted Cruz an outsider or establishment presidential candidate?
Undercover Porcupine ^ | 3/13/16 | Chris Dixon

Reading the headline might leave some in disbelief for different reasons. Is Senator Ted Cruz an outsider? He’s a first term United States Senator who has alienated everyone and has yet to secure a single Senate endorsement. Businessman Donald Trump even has more Senate endorsements than him. How much clearer of an outsider definition can that get?

Valid, to a degree, but there’s more to the story at this point. Senator Cruz’s background in politics extends a lot further back than his rookie Senate career. To be clearer, it extends back more than a decade and a half, when he joined the presidential campaign of George W. Bush in 1999. As a member of the Bush 2000 presidential campaign, he was a domestic policy advisor to the then-Texas Governor. Senator Cruz was later responsible for helping assemble Bush’s legal team, which included John Roberts.

Fast forward to the present day.

People think that a Cruz is an outsider because everybody who knows him hates him. But that doesn’t make him an outsider. It just shows how unlikeable he is. His real problem is that he has a dishonest face ... Oh yeah, and he cucked for BLM and the Eye Soros yesterday.

After his comments Friday night following the incident at the Trump rally, he just confirmed to me that he is a sleaze ball.

His slick backed dark hair and his hook nose makes me think of Grandpa Munster.

Cruz adding Neil Bush and Jeb’s entire finance team makes the putrid stink of warmed over Bush much stronger.

The Bushes needed to be uprooted root and branch, and that goes for the Stealth Bushes, Rubio, Cruz and Kasich.

Cruz is a lawyer, a politician and an would be evangelist.

I can understand his appeal to some but I don’t see him as an effective leader who can lead the country out of the quagmire and monumental mess we’re in. We’re facing existential threats and its going to take exceptional managerial skills to do this.

There is no evidence that Cruz has them, especially within the economic sphere. The same could be said for Rubio. They are both senators and senators don’t make great presidents for what should be obvious reasons.

He’s newbie establishment. It wasn’t his turn, there are many political dynasties like the bush’s in line for president but Cruz is not.

The Neil Bush appointment, whatever benefits it yielded in terms of big donors, destroyed his credibility as an insurgent candidate.

Everyone who knew Richard Nixon hated him too (except for a small inner circle), yet he was the consummate insider.
