Reading the headline might leave some in disbelief for different reasons. Is Senator Ted Cruz an outsider? Hes a first term United States Senator who has alienated everyone and has yet to secure a single Senate endorsement. Businessman Donald Trump even has more Senate endorsements than him. How much clearer of an outsider definition can that get?
Valid, to a degree, but theres more to the story at this point. Senator Cruzs background in politics extends a lot further back than his rookie Senate career. To be clearer, it extends back more than a decade and a half, when he joined the presidential campaign of George W. Bush in 1999. As a member of the Bush 2000 presidential campaign, he was a domestic policy advisor to the then-Texas Governor. Senator Cruz was later responsible for helping assemble Bushs legal team, which included John Roberts.
Fast forward to the present day.

Funny how your home page says life revolves around God but you mock Teds fathers faith
He was, indeed, the consummate insider, but the tale that everyone who knew him hated him is a media-generated myth. When he died, thousands of people stood in pouring rain in lines that stretched for miles to pay their last respects.

That assertion is either the result of sloppy research or an outright lie. Sen. Mike Lee (T-Utah) has endorsed Ted Cruz.
Well whatever he is Felito showed Friday evening that he may be a natural born Canadian but he’s not a natural born leader. Buy bye Teddy.
He committed suicide
Of course he’s not an outsider. But Trump isn’t one either. Don’t care what y’all want to call Cruz as long as you have your eyes open to Trump’s obvious insider status as well. Can’t stand hypocrites no matter what side of politics they’re on.
jumping on the grenade does not equal suicide.
Amen
If Trump wins the nomination, how will he be able to win over the Cruz supporters? Support from Cruz and his army of grassroots conservative activists could be crucial in battleground states.

This is a massive push by foreign donors and corporate interests to pass TPP. And TPP also infringes on our sovereignty, freedom of speech, and other frightening things, 6,000 pages.
I mock charlatans.
The Cruz haters are in force here on FR. Yet they back a man who has changed his opinions more than his underwear for no other reason than to make a buck. Trump is more of an insider than Cruz. Cruz has been consistent as a Texas Senator. That is why Texas overwhelmingly voted for him. Show me where Comacho has been consistent. You can’t.
He WAS an outsider, then he became establishment.
You become famous quicker when you run against the establishment, but once you become famous you don’t really get monetary benefits or positions of power if you continue to be an outsider. That’s the thought process of Cruz in a nutshell.
TPA was not TPP
you understand that?
He is also in favor of a Value Added Tax, (called VAT in Europe), which is a federal sales tax on everything you buy or sell. This VAT will be used to tax Internet purchases.
There is just a mite difference between hiring a few H1-B visas — and Ted Cruz wants a 500% increase in H1-B visas — and VOTING for a bill that will lead to the complete loss of our country’s sovereignty.
You see how that catch 22 works?
Man that is why I try to stay off the radar, does that make me an insider?
