Yep, we could've had a true Reagan conservative for the first time in a long time. I was resigned to the fact it wouldn't happen though. This country elected Clinton twice and Obama once, and the second time for Obama was not enough to overcome the vote fraud. So we end up with a cult of personality. I didn't vote for McCain or Romney, two Dems, I voted third party. I may vote for Trump because the media hates him, but I know he will suck up to the media as soon as it's safe. I hope I'm wrong.

This nation does not need a president all pack up and ready for the rapture. This nation needs a president that is intending to be here for the long haul... We shall see what God's plans are.

Maybe so.

But I don’t believe it’s Trump.

You (nor anyone else, for that matter) have the slightest idea how he will govern.

If I’m not mistaken, a lot of the anger that’s being expressed is that the candidates are all talk, just to get elected. Once they ARE elected they don’t do as they promised.

I’m curious... What has Trump done so far except make promises? What has he done to convince you he’s different??

Seems to me that at this stage of the game he looks exactly like the ones everyone is so pissed off at. You know... Campaign promises.

All of them have looked good during the campaign, right?

“Trump lost in court against an old lady whose house he was trying to take away.

Cruz won at the Supreme Court defending our right to bear arms and have religious freedom.

Trump’s a good promotional guy, good at sales.

Cruz is serious and has walked the walk at the highest level.”

That’s right, and we desperately need a president who is SERIOUS about our Constitution and Ted Cruz has a PROVEN record on that!

Sorry, but I’m not impressed with a businessman. George Soros and Herbert Hoover were businessmen.

So he’s a good lawyer, but good lawyers do not make good presidents. He really need some executive experience. I suggest he run as Texas Governor for a while

If only we had a crystal ball, we’d all be perfect.

Now let’s look at Trump:

“Trump has long praised Mitch McConnell, the man who is the embodiment of why people are fed up with the party and attracted to Trump in the first place. While conservatives were fighting to get rid of McConnell in the 2014 primaries, Trump said, “It would be a shame if he didn’t win, because he has such power, it’s so good for his state.”

It comes as no surprise, then, that late last year Trump criticized Cruz for acting like a “maniac” when he called McConnell a liar. How does Trump plan to fight political correctness and the culture of the D.C. establishment when he has championed the mastermind of the GOP establishment and is offended by the non-politically correct criticism of its leader?”

He may have "authored" Bills, but NOTHING GOT DONE!

His accomplishments are a big fat whopping ZERO!

He voted for the TPA, which brought the TPP to the floor and was passed. He voted for the Corker Bill. He never tried to stop the MISSISSIPPI SCANDAL/STOLEN ELECTION, and he's now doing NOTHING but running for president for the past year!

Ted Cruz is PRINCIPLED, BRILLIANT, ENERGETIC and has PASSION for the Constitution.

Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton had executive experience, so I’m not impressed with that.

Yep, we could've had a true Reagan conservative for the first time in a long time.

Nancy, rest her soul, was not a CFR New World Order advocate. Or a Goldman Sux bankster.

cruise is not, nor has he ever been, a true Reagan conservative. Along with cohorts neil boosch and glenbeck he's a self-serving politician who wants you to think his being an outcast makes him an outsider.

The Governor of Texas is mostly a FIGUREHEAD position. It is the Lt. Governor who runs the show. I don't know WHY that is, but it is.

Why do you wish HARM on Texas? Hopefully little lying Teddy will leave government/politics and go back to just being a sleazy lawyer.

He can’t make liberal Dems and LIBERAL REPUBLICANS vote the right way. They are too chicken, or LIBERAL. It’s quite a stretch to blame everything on Cruz that’s beyond his control.

You really lose credibility when you keep posting things like that.

CONTRAST between Donald and Ted on our Second Amendment rights:.

Donald was AGAINST our 2nd amendment rights before he was for them.

However, Ted FOUGHT for and WON the case for our 2nd Amendment rights.

You gotta wake up People, before it’s too late.

Yes.
Yes.

He could do that as soon as he finishes his six-year commitment to the people of Texas to represent them in the Senate.
The truth is ted only ran for the Senate because he wants to be president.
He had no intention of completing his term if he thought he could run for president sooner than 6 years from the day he was elected as senator.
I think he was dishonest with the people of Texas relative to his intentions to fulfill his term as senator.
