Unfortunately, I just received a call from the national campaign chairman. The event at JCJC has been cancelled. Ted Cruz will not be in Mississippi tomorrow, as he evidently does not feel well. This is difficult news to deliver, but we trust that God has a plan for the campaign and for Mississippi.

I kinda think maybe God doesn't really give a Cruz rally too much thought one way or the other ... or Donald's either for that matter. The Cruz campaign has this way of making everything holy and divinely inspired when it's just politics as usual. Turns a lot of people off.

IMO, a person who can eat a booger without missing a beat is somebody we need to be real careful with. He looked America right in the eye and ate that booger. It was chilling.

You might be right, and Cruz is famous for these kinds of weasly moves, esp in the senate. Innuendo and expediency - hallmarks of the Cruz campaign.

I doubt that’s the real story, I would think if you expect to win/competitive you are showing up. Cruz has yet to win a single southern state other than TX, and this was supposed to be where he was going to solidify the nomination. MS, MO and NC are the last chances he has to get something out of it. (He’s not competitive in FL at all)
If he’s not making a stop there tomorrow that he had pre planned I doubt its a cold or flu stopping him from showing up.

Could be, or maybe they want someone who didn't, until 14 months ago, reveal that he was a citizen of Canada because he didn't know, a fact conveniently not mentioned to the Texas voters; OR maybe they want someone who votes for TPA, accelerating and giving up the final vestiges of American sovereignity; OR maybe they just like the thought of someone who was birthed, nurtured, supported by the Tea Party refusing to campaign against incumbents for upstart conservatives as part of a promise to the NRSC ... I could go on and on ...

Well, no one has to like it, but I know if I am fighting for the Presidency, I’m not skipping a rally in a state I think I can win on its voting day for the sniffles.

Apparently Cruz is going elsewhere in Mississippi today. Must have been miraculously healed. More likely he is running from the pastor who wants to lock up gay people. Funny how Cruz is never asked to disavow the wackjobs that actually campaign with him...

and raise you: Conservatives want a man already sworn into office by Glenn of the Beck just recently visited by the Secret Service for threats of stabbing Trump; OR maybe they want someone whose father has designated Messiah Ted the Anointed Ruler to bring America into Dominion End Times, OR maybe they want someone whom Sessions worked with for years and endorsed Trump instead (maybe he knows something we don't); and finally, maybe they want someone who is offputting, hectoring, lecturing and fingerpointing because that will just pull them in ALL in in the general and after the last 8 years of being lectured to, we just can't wait for more. .

I know I wait breathlessly hoping we can have another 1st term senator, Not-Natural Born, Harvard Law Review genius, Constitutional Scholar, Lawyer lecture me at the podium on what it means to be an American and what America is all about! (especially if he’s not American to begin with....)
The only thing that would seal the deal is if he was a community organizer on top of all that...
