Practical problems of implementation aside, the scenario would only work in a relative stalemate situation. There won’t be a stalemate. The uniparty will win and nominate whomever it wants (probably Teddy as the designated loser) or DT will win and then this discussion is moot.
My prediction: DT wins the nomination but will have a harder time in the general. Power never gives up power willingly, and they will gladly hand the election over to the rats to keep their power and perks in place.

Give credit to Ted Cruz for warning against a brokered convention it would cause a Voter Revolt which is would.Since he would be the man a brokered convention would aim to help, Cruz is putting country over party and personal ambitions.
