She pulled a quote from a previous opinion that lists Donald Trump as a con artist. The case is still being pending in civil court.
Megyn Kelly just gave the media and Republican candidates the opening to label the GOP frontrunner a con artist.

Debate Disgrace: Fox News Exposed as Pro-Rubio Super PAC
This is Fox News going way beyond anything weve seen in the past from CNBCs John Harwood or ABCs George Stephanopoulos.
In the future, any Republican stupid enough to talk to the New York Times, BuzzFeed, or Fox News in an off-the-record capacity, deserves whatever knife he or she gets in the back.
Near the end of the debate, Fox News became a parody of itself by airing the last 30 seconds or so of this anti-Trump ad from the John Kasich campaign:
Fox Newss brand and reputation is already in freefall. Thursday night, in service to Marco Rubio and the Republican Establishment, Fox News stooped lower than NBC News or CNN something many of us never thought possible.
I wonder if this will screw up the class action suit - and not in a way that will help the ‘victims’ of Trump University. The Donald will certainly use that to get it dismissed.
I am not comparing Donald Trump to Jesus Christ. I am observing that he seems to be Divinely protected. So I think that Donald Trump is a type of Samson: Doesnt drink, has wild hair, chases foreign women, gets really upset if the treat him unfairly, really good a slaying Philistines, and brings down the Temple of Dagon.
This is one of the reasons why I say that Donald Trump is a type of Samson:
Judgse 15
3 And Samson said to them, “This time I shall be blameless regarding the Philistines if I harm them!”
4 Then Samson went and caught three hundred foxes; and he took torches, turned the foxes tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails.
5 When he had set the torches on fire, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves.

Sounds like the current state of the GOPee to me. ;-)
You live in an echo chamber if you believe that. Trump’s negatives are very high. Enough of the Conservative base stay home because trump has made himself unlikable and unelectable. Right now there are polls showing trump losing to hitlery. Why, because trump is attacking republicans like a leftist. Yes, leftists do like that.
Primaries are about fighting for power. One should expect various groups within the GOP to rumble for power. Being articulate about ones ideas can make the difference, see Reagan who managed to dethrone the GOP left. Too bad he picked Bush as vp as that move gave the GOPleft a way to get power back.
I would expect that as part of the various groups vying for supremacy in the primaries, that articulation of and about ideas should not devolve into a melee of anti-opponent rhetoric and mainly that.
I supported Cruz up until late 2015. I got so fed up with the anti-Trump ‘articulation’, I decided I wanted no part of a candidacy like that. To be fair, there has been some similar ‘articulation’ from the Trump side, too and some about Cruz, but what I saw was the preponderance in the reverse.
I still like Cruz and would vote for him if he wins the nomination, but I won’t stand by professing rule of law, constitution and all that and simultaneously countenance dishonest and disrespectful behavior. I have never once said a bad thing about Cruz, nor posted a hit piece. The very worst thing I’ve said about him is that his embracing Glenn Beck’s endorsement was a stupid move in my opinion. Yet I spend most of my time discussing things about Trump while still not hearing anything in return about why he’s such a darn good choice.
Frankly, I’m done. I voted for Trump in my primary and I’m done - he won that in my state. I’ll vote for him in November, too. The rest can either vote their way, vote their conscience or whatever. It doesn’t make a difference to me.
“The ‘RAT and RINO wings of the UniParty(c) will shake hands and it will be once more, “business as usual”.
They know that if Trump IS elected, the gravy train for the lot of them will END. “
The D.C. Republican leadership is no better than Mafia thugs. In all candor, I would rather deal with the mob, as they were somewhat patriotic : )
Trump gets it, doesn't back down, and knows how to form a media narrative. These are multiple reasons I came over from being a Cruz supporter to supporting Trump.
OMG! Everybody knows that citing such polls is totally meaningless 8 months out. Reagan was 30 points behind an incumbent President at this point in 1980.
Hypothetical matchup polls at this juncture are pure propaganda, and everybody is aware of that, except you, apparently.
Furthermore, Hillary's negatives are in the same neighborhood as Trumps, which you conveniently ignore, and her negatives have very little chance of being rehabilitated. Trump's will rehabilitate fine.
And the legal problems are not comparable either. For God's sake, Hillary jeopardized national security and helped run a foundation whose sole purpose was to funnel foreign money into its coffers in exchange for influence over US government policy! I mean, you can trace the donations and line them directly up with policy initiatives.
Hillary is such a blatant crook, that only a weak candidate who isn't energizing voters could possibly lose to her. The exact opposite of that is what's happening.
The only risk is if the Establishment selfishly and petulantly destroys the formidable momentum that is growing stronger every day, with the help of hysterical purists who just can't accept the fact that this Revolution is for all the People, not just Constitution wonks.
Trump is leading this Revolution and you're saying that King George (Hillary) is somehow going to win back the Peoples' hearts?
It is to laugh. You fear Hillary too much. This is simply not her time. The Establishment across the political spectrum is hated by all Americans with a passion that will never die, in fact it only waxes stronger with each transparent shenanigan. A few Hillary fanboys is not going to overcome what's occurring.
If Trump gets the GOP nomination, he will keep Hillary's corruption out in front of the media, unlike the deferential GOP candidates in recent years who played nice and refused to "go negative".
Hillary vs. Donald Trump will be a GOP landslide of Reaganesque proprtions. It's the flippant and dismissive anti-Trumpers who live in an echo chamber.
Trump will squash Hillary like an annoying insect.
Are you not paying attention to the profound enthusiasm gap which has been exposed? Or are you willingly ignoring it? GOP turnout is breaking records in every state, while Democrat turnout is lagging severely. Given circumstances, that's very unlikely to suddenly change during the general election cycle.
And those enthusiasm numbers are despite Trump's supposed negatives.
You're completely ignoring the realistic math if you think the Democrats have any chance at making up that lost ground.
Hillary's negatives will only go higher and higher. She's likely to be indicted, for crying out loud. She's damaged goods that can't be repaired.
The anti-Trumpers are completely missing what's happening here. They are so blinded by their ideological purity that they don't know a potential Revolution when they see it.
Eventually, the hysterical disparagement being fomented by the GOP Establishment will have to cease, and the party will unify, and will form a much larger base.
With Trump, the GOP is going to completely upturn the traditional demographics of the last several decades, and will get a bigger portion Reagan Democrats, blue collar, and minority voters, including Blacks, and even Hispanics.
If Donald Trump just gets a decent percentage of the Black vote, the Democrat advantage is obliterated. The Democrats can't win without it. And there are strong signs of that happening.
The Democrats fear Trump like no other candidate.
Donald Trump has barely begun to turn his attention to Hillary.
Once he does, you're going to see the same thing happen in the general voting populace. The enthusiasm gap is already breathtaking, and will only grow wider.
And if the conservative base "stays home", they will be responsible for President Hillary.
Parenthetically, the conservative base is not staying home. They stayed home for Romney and McCain, who were too timid to even attack their opponent. The percentage of evangelical turnout is far higher this time than in the last few cycles, and they represent a huge portion of the "conservative base". The "conservative base" is turning out in droves, and they're voting for Donald Trump. That's the reality.
Basically, I'm seeing total denial by those whose favorite candidate is not Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is far from perfect, but, barring a suicide attack by the Establishment, he will ride this perfect storm (and that's exactly what's occurring) into the White House. And Donald Trump has been a major factor in harnessing that storm and broadening its influence.
Throughout history, many imperfect vessels have been used to serve God's purposes and express His will, and that's what is happening in the 2016 election cycle.
Why yes; yes she would.
MeAgain's fight with Trump has aged her 10 years.
The only reason to have so many debates is so the GOP can go on being losers and keep the Dems in power. Debates hurt Republicans EVERY TIME, EVERY YEAR.
So polls don’t matter when you don’t like them! Ok, live in your trump bubble but remember not whine if he loses and it will be his own fault too.
Such polls are widely known to be garbage by everyone in and out of the industry, voters, pundits, and in general anyone who knows anything.
The polls you are citing are the clumsy tools of wishful-thinking propagandists. I wouldn't put one dime's worth of credence in such polls if they showed Trump beating Hillary by 10 points!
The fact that Trump-haters are regurgitating these utterly worthless, primarily registered voter (LOL!) polls is a sign of the absolute, hysterical desperation. Those who do so are in a profound state of denial regarding the state of this Presidential race.
And now the Trump-haters are stepping into line with the Left and the sleazy GOP Establishment, engaging in transparent yellow journalism.
I lost most of the remaining respect I had for Ted Cruz when he tried to play the race card against Trump by citing the phony David Duke "controversy". Talk about low down desperation!
Garbage is garbage, and it is the Trump-haters who are living in an oblivious bubble.
trump earned that david duke slap back when he acted as if he didn’t know who duke was.
trump deserves all the hate from Conservatives given that he donated to harry reid, hitlery’s presidential campaign in 2008 and hires foreigners instead of Americans at his Florida resort.
trump has no principles and deserves the kicks for that.
Bullsh!t. It was a low-down smear, and Ted Cruz couldn't have been more disingenuous in fomenting it. It was the sleaziest thing he's done in his campaign, and it will cost him.
Ted Cruz pulled a total establishment desperation move with the David Duke smear, parroting Establishment darling Rubio.
It was a tactic worthy of the most base yellow journalism of the ilk that we see from the lamestream media every day.
It's clear for all to see that Cruz is drifting steadily towards the Establishment camp, as he adopts the methods and messaging of the Establishment in their vicious attempt to thwart the will of the most energized portion of the GOP electorate.
The Establishment and all its lackeys deserve what's coming.
Go, Trump, go!
trump knows how to dish out the low down smears, doesn’t he? he compared Carson to a child molestor. He should man up and admit he knew who duke was after all it was admirable he left the reform party over duke.
I save my sympathy for innocents. trump is no innocent aand deserves the knocks when he messes up
To reiterate. The David Duke smear from Cruz was totally disingenuous, unworthy of Cruz, and I believe it has cost him support.
Cruz should probably start behaving like an anti-establishment candidate, instead of a sleazy insider, if he wants to retain his shot at becoming Trump's VP running mate...
OK. Then I will change the word, trump is a fraud.
