Now does that add constructively to a solution?

you make it a $10,000 fine on the employer for each illegal caught working in this country(first offense) $100,000 each the second time along forfeiture of the property

also strip ALL funds from "sanctuary cities"

with no welfare and no work, they will self deport

50% tax on remittances.

No more welfare of any kind.

Enforce E-Verify.

1/3 will leave on their own.

Here is something I wrote on this topic over a year ago: As for immigration, there are so many things we should be doing but aren't. Here's a few thoughts - -Real penalties for companies that knowingly hire illegals. Including jail time. I think this would solve most of the problem. -Likewise, real penalties for renting to illegals. -Close the birth-citizenship loophole. -No catch-and-release. Immediate deportation (after jail time - see next). -For those that break the law, jail time is served in camps near the border, with reduced time for labor on the border wall. After time served, immediate deportation. Since being here undocumented is against the law, 100% serve time at the border before being deported. -No government services. The only exception is life-or-death medical care, followed by immediate deportation. -Change tax system to a sales tax only. Closes the under-the-table gap and solves much of the drug problem at the same time. -All government services (and forms) in English only. 100%. Only exception is for tourism. None of this voting with spanish ballots. -Make it so that living here illegally is so uncomfortable that self-deporting is a major factor. -Need a solution for non-Mexican deportation. Thinking an escorted flight home, with the cost coming out of the foreign aid we seem to send to every country in the world. Regrettably, we need to help other countries be livable, to reduce the desire to illegally immigrate. It would appear the drug issue in northern Mexico needs to be addressed. Asylum to be very closely scrutinized. We need to define friendly and unfriendly cultures and treat requests accordingly. -H-1B visas need to be reconsidered. In my experience it isn't used to fill a position that cannot be filled locally. It is used to fill a position cheaper that a local resource. The only was someone can apply for citizenship is from their own country, with a waiting period long enough to prove they are actually residing in their country. Like minimum one year wait, with monthly check-ins. Wow, and that is just a start. I think one of the biggest items is we need to make it more expensive for people and businesses to do business with illegals than it is with citizens. Which means we need to solve the “chamber of commerce” issue on the right side of the political spectrum. Not sure how to do that. Casting a wide enough tent to win elections, but not so wide that you compromise your principals is a tough one.

Start arresting them where they work and collecting enormous fines from their employers. They’ll be self deporting by the thousands, and those who try to stay will have no jobs.

A multi sided approach: no welfare, no jobs, no social services and thus many will self-depart and additional ones are discouraged from coming. Then deport others.

Increase border protection. It would greatly reduce the horrific misery created by the black tar heroin pushers. This is so addictive and deadly that some have dubbed it the devil's drug. It is only pushed by illegal from Mexico and has devastated who regions. Oddly the pushers are ordered to sell only to whites. I cannot image anybody wanting to legalize black tar heroin (much more deadly than brown street heroin pushed by cartels).

My sister was in Houston after hurricane Katrina. Texans are big hearted compassionate people and wanted to do their part, so the opened up the Astrodome to the refugees from New Orleans. It was filled to capacity within a matter of days.

Within about three weeks, the most ambitious of that group had found jobs, housing and were building a new life in Houston and the surrounding area.

The others enjoyed the free shelter and meals being served them three times per day but didn't seem much interested in leaving. Texas hospitality begin to wear thin. So Houston's big airlines and the city decided to make them a deal: free one way tickets to any destination in the country where they flew.

The vast majority of the hanger-ons decided to take the limited time offer and leave as it was becoming clear that Texas hospitality would soon wear even thinner. There is a lesson here on how to make self-deportation attractive.

If you deport them, they will leave.

“You give them 90 days to self deport, then you start rounding them up...”

People forget that Trump also holds out a carrot for them to go home - they get to come back as guest workers.

Just make that system first-come, first-served. That would probably get 75% of them racing home. Obviously we don’t have to take all of them back, or even a significant percentage of them. But a few, and the race will be on.

How do you climb Mount Everest in one second?

You don’t.

You start with the first step, and then you move to the second step, and then on to the third, then fourth.

The question of how do you deport 11 million+ illegal aliens is designed to shut down anyone asking.

The only question worth asking is how do you deport one illegal alien, because that is, of course, where you start-

At the beginning and not the end.

ANSWER 1: Welfare stops.

ANSWER 2: Persons or corporations found employing illegal aliens will be fined $1 million / day.

They will self deport within months.
