Good start. Have a grace period, say 90 days to 6 months to get their things in order. In that time all who self deport will not be considered to have broken the law....thus saving the Gov’t millions in deportation proceedings etc. At the end of 90 days all who are here illegally will be deported with absolutely no chance in Hell of ever being in the U.S. again...regardless of whether they have family here or not.

This is the most inventive idea I’ve heard. The other solutions will stop a lot of it, but new fraud enterprise will arise: fake ids, fake employees, shadow employees, etc.

Business expenses for an illegal activity are not tax deductible.

Hiring illegal aliens is technically—illegal.

So, you make any business expenses associated with hiring an illegal alien (such as their pay) non-tax deductible.

That cheap-labor illegal immigrant suddenly doesn’t become so cheap when a business can’t deduct what they pay them as a business expense off their taxes.

How do you know who is working illegally? SSN, name, & birthdate. If the three provided to the employer do not match what is in the IRS database, then they ARE illegal aliens working on a stolen/fake SSN.

ANSWER: Cut off the government checks.

That is top of the list.

First I would add a timetable of last in first out for self-deportation. The deportation program will last two years to allow employers to hire legal Americans. No H1B visas would be allowed during that time. After the deadline asset forfeiture laws kick in, with half going to the local law enforcement and the remainder for the deportation program. The last in must leave immediately or have 100% of their assets seized.

Second, I would tax individual wire transfers to pay for a secure boarder and deportation.

Third, I would enforce E-Verify (with updates) on all employers, schools, hospitals (patients), city government, state government and federal government. Those that hire, allow school admission or do not report illegal patients to authorities would face fines and loss of tax revenue.

Fourth, I would turn our current police state (pieces be onto obowelmovement) away from American citizens and to the internal security of the country. Their job would be to investigate, jail and deport all illegals.

Fifth, I would model transit camps at the boarders after Sheriff Joe's prison model. These would be bare basics until the prisoner aliens can be moved.

That is just a start.

I also would model any foreign worker program on those of other countries. Passports are confiscated and the employer is 100% responsible for housing, meals, healthcare, and transportation. All workers would be limited to a one year work visa (maximum) where they will have to exit for a minimum of 30 days before returning. There would be no immigration under this program.

There too is just a start.

Ah, but don’t forget Trump said he will bring back the good ones and expedite the process for them. He sort of changed his tune last year, wonder how much more he’ll adjust his stance.
