Yes. I don’t understand the strategy either. Many people did not go for Trump because they were put off by his vulgarity and lack of class. It seems to me that a better strategy for Rubio would be to try to differentiate himself by acting “Presidential,” stressing his approach to issues in a constructive, positive way, showing people why he wants to be President and why he is the best person for the job - instead of trying to out-Trump Trump by imitating the Trump tactic of insulting people.

Rubio isn’t very good at this imitation Trump stuff. He just comes across as even phonier than before.

I have a question. I cannot find any evidence that Donald Trump ever owned Tower Air. I also served in Desert Storm with the Big Red One.

Isn’t being a republican for the last 10+ years the biggest con job of all time?

Sadly, yes. But thank you so much for reminding us.

We get so twisted in our passions, we forget this.

Ever since his Gang of 8 legislation, disliking Rubio was a given, at least for me.

Oh? So the guy calling the other guy a 'con man' was a gang member in a previous life??? What's he drive? A Hardley Davidson?

Why doesn’t Trump threaten to sue him? He seems to have stopped that silly line of attack when Cruz called him on it.

I wonder if he will back off the LIAR LIAR bs now that Cruz effectively shut him down on it in the last debate? Yeah, I know he did a little in the little bit of the Trump speech I could stand to watch today, but it seems that he is shifting again. The dude is nothing if he isn’t pure Adult ADD.

loan from his father was “small”, only $1 Million.

lol, yeah, I thought that was ridiculous, too. That was also what 30 years ago? That is like 20 or 30 million today. Also, what is the deal with his inheritance? Did he inherit $200 million or not? Why doesn't he address that?

Robotio had a new talking point uploaded by the GOPe that he repeated over and over. He doesn’t realize that mindlessly repeating a talking point totally defuses it.

instead of trying to out-Trump Trump by imitating the Trump tactic of insulting people.

Sadly, the childish antiques had to be done. Why not use the youngest one closest to physical childhood? It might be too little, too late, but Rubio might be sacrificing himself to weaken the Trump. I doubt that is the strategy because I think Trump is a nasty mouth part of the establishment and Rubio is the pretty boy part of the establishment. The establishment doesn't want Cruz. They are ok with either Rubio or Trump... if not happy, they are ok because neither are Ted Cruz. Rubio just might be desperate and angry enough at Trump that he is doing this attack on his own. I hope Cruz benefits from it.

lol, what about Trump? He has what, 5 phrases and talking points and a vocabulary of 2 of 3 thousand words? but, "Let's make America Great Again" who can go against that spiffy slogan?

With Sanders as prezzy, the country would fiscally collapse within 3 years. The US nation would dissolve and subdivide into regional units with no debt. A win in the long run. With Hillary as prezzy, the War Party will kill millions to keep their globalist aspirations and cronyism continuing. A loss for those killed. Rubio is equivalent to Hillary without her strapon. He has not killed that many yet. A RINO/DINO War Party robot that has been programmed to kill. Cruz can save us morally and may have a chance fiscally, but his big money strings may lead him astray. Trump is about the only play that could fiscally save the nation without killing millions. The question remains, is this 19 trillion dollar indebted bankrupt nation still worth saving ? Might be better to go with Cruz and at least maintain a sense of morality.

I was gone for a couple of house.

This story was posted at The Conservative Treehouse and I just reposted it. I am not the writer of this story.

I figure that Trump must have chartered the airplane since this is a charter service.

Trump has done things like this before so it didn’t particularly surprise me.

Pfffft. A million in the NY commercial real estate business is nothing. It might cover the cost of chandeliers in a hotel renovation.

He did address the one million vs. 200 million. He pointed at the media for their lies.

Furthermore, he discussed his start from his father in at least one of his books (I don't remember which one of the three that I've read).

What a contrast to Cruz. Cruz rakes in millions (that he REPORTS, and we know for certain he has been known to OMIT income on required forms) and gives less that 1% to charity. Then he beats other Christians over the head about tithing 10% and insists that others call him "The Face Of God."

And we don't know what if anything Cruz has given the last few years because he has not released his tax returns.
