Choice is also gone. Deli is getting to a "it is that or nothing level". Now grocery stores are not even trying to hide the empty spaces with junk.
On the medical front things are worse, if possible. Today I learned of the arrival of some generics from a medicine for triglycerides that I had to stop taking. I arrived in time at my local "LOCATEL". I tried to get also a small bottle of rubbing alcohol. To my surprise there is none. The lone brand on the market has stopped delivering. No more rubbing alcohol for your disinfection needs!

So here is the dilemma, since the drinking water is unsafe, the toilet paper needed for the inevitable "turistas" is also almost impossible to find there. Then to get products for basic survival, you have to stand on long lines but how long can one stand on those lines when the effects of the crappy water kicks in? It's like an IMPOSSIBLE situation.
But Bernie assures us that this time Socialism will work!

When I was in Venezuela I let my guard down once by having ice in my soda. Soon after...turistas! Luckily it only lasted a day.

This was the purpose of Dodd-Frank, Obamacare, and innumerable regulations. Banks have had to add wings and floors to their offices, to house the federal regulators.
What is happening in Venezuela, Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, South Africa, etc., etc., is Obama’s dream for America. People starving and freezing to death, and black mobs hacking white people to death.
Really any Democrat, when you think about it. Both Hillary and Sanders would crush the "makers" in society with more taxes and more regulations. The only difference is that Sanders would do it quicker.
There is no Truman or JFK in today's Democrat party. They are all variations of Sanders or Hillary.

Suddenly there seems to be silence from the dictator loving hollywoodenheads Kevin Spacey, Danny Glover, Sean Penn and Oliver Stone. If each of them would given their beloved adopted country just half of their ridiculous personal fortunes, it could help greatly. Where are they now?

Never mind the apparent connection between underarm goop and child hunger of which I was heretofore blissfully unaware, this does appear to indicate that our putative economic masters are on top of the matter. If, however, scarcity is a hallmark of virtue, then starvation is a sign of perfection. Anybody who votes socialist needs to have his head examined for holes.
