Dear Establishment – I blame you!
The Liberty Zone ^ | Nicki Kenyon

Dear Republican and Democrat establishments,

By this time you're probably wondering what the hell is happening to that nice little world you've created for yourselves. The Hairy Hemorrhoidâ„¢ and the Septuagenarian Socialist are putting a spike the size of a cricket bat into the tires of your 2016 campaign buses, and you are spinning ferociously in your seats like ferrets on speed, trying to catch up.

What the hell happened?

Well you need to look no further than your mirrors, and not the funhouse ones that give you that warped view of yourselves, either. Take a long, hard look at what’s going on, because you are the ones who created the deranged monstrosity we’re seeing in the primaries of both parties today!

The below quoted text from the comments section is *gold*. We’ve done this to ourselves — and here’s the worst part — We’ve done this to ourselves *AGAIN*:

“...What happened was a Starbucks menu of choices for Conservatives and quasi-Conservatives: Cruz, Fiorina, Santorum, Paul, Carson. Throw in Rubio as a phony conservative and that makes six candidates trying to get votes from the Conservative base.

So along comes Trump, initially fluffing up his phony-conservative feathers and getting the attention of the media and those looking for someone to bear the standard for the Conservative philosophy. Like the marketing genius he is, Trump started slicing off supporters from across the political spectrum, including a few from the Democrat pools.

And the Conservatives begin turning on each other instead of joining forces around one candidate to bring some sanity and a real candidate that can both clobber the Hildabeast and restore a modicum of American greatness.

The rest, as they say, will be presidential primary history in about 45 days. Say hello to candidate Donald Trump and his running mate Marco Rubio.

And say hello to President Hildebeast in November, with Secretary of Commerce Bernie Sanders...”

GRRRRRREAT post! HOORAY Nicki Kenyon

I saw a guy in Nevada in a casino a couple of years ago with a hat on and the words,

“Mirror, mirror on the wall

what the hell happened?”

True story. The old dude was gumming a muffin at a casino restaurant as I was walking by. I was chuckling to myself so hard at the saying on his hat, that I didn’t get a real good look at him. It might have been Harry POS Reid.

The dialogue from The Dark Knight keeps coming to mind. When Alfred is talking to Bruce about the Joker.

The Republican establishment squeezed and hammered the people to the point of desperation. And in that desperation the people turned to a man they may not fully understand.

Can't say that I blame them.

Gee, it appears to me, that the so-called conservatives to man (or woman) have been royally bashing Trump in every manner conceivable. Their attacks on Trump, and we the people, have been quite vile. Shocking really, you would expect that from the left, but not from your own. I fail to see the problems with Trump. Whatever his flaws may be, and he certainly has some, they certainly no worse than those of the perfumed elites. Theirs are just hidden, the nasty things they do and say are done behind closed doors, and only once in awhile do we hear about them. They are vulnerable to blackmail and because they did not earn their wealth in the private sector, vulnerable to bribery. Trump’s sins, on the other hand are well known, and he has great personal wealth. Why can’t you people see that the Washington elites are no better than Trump, and a lot of them are far worse. Don’t you think those arrogant puffed-up self important politicians would not like to be dictators if they could manage it. And very very few of them could make it in private life? Certainly, they would not have the success Donald Trump has had.

Instead of joining the fight, Mitch et al went to war against the Tea Party to appease the media. They really should not be surprised when the enemy flips them the bird.

"...I fail to see the problems with Trump..."

I'm no doctor, but you may have a defect in your discernment abilities.

As long as you are aware you are choosing to place your trust in a recently reformed democrat who is proud of his "NYC-Values" and espouses big-govt solutions.

How cute. One of FR’s surrender monkeys has made an appearance to wave a white flag and bow before Hillary.

“...One of FR’s surrender monkeys...”

Are you talking to me or the author of the quote? If you’re talking to me, you are horribly misinformed. Which is it, cupcake?
