The below quoted text from the comments section is *gold*. We’ve done this to ourselves — and here’s the worst part — We’ve done this to ourselves *AGAIN*:

“...What happened was a Starbucks menu of choices for Conservatives and quasi-Conservatives: Cruz, Fiorina, Santorum, Paul, Carson. Throw in Rubio as a phony conservative and that makes six candidates trying to get votes from the Conservative base.

So along comes Trump, initially fluffing up his phony-conservative feathers and getting the attention of the media and those looking for someone to bear the standard for the Conservative philosophy. Like the marketing genius he is, Trump started slicing off supporters from across the political spectrum, including a few from the Democrat pools.

And the Conservatives begin turning on each other instead of joining forces around one candidate to bring some sanity and a real candidate that can both clobber the Hildabeast and restore a modicum of American greatness.

The rest, as they say, will be presidential primary history in about 45 days. Say hello to candidate Donald Trump and his running mate Marco Rubio.

And say hello to President Hildebeast in November, with Secretary of Commerce Bernie Sanders...”

Gee, it appears to me, that the so-called conservatives to man (or woman) have been royally bashing Trump in every manner conceivable. Their attacks on Trump, and we the people, have been quite vile. Shocking really, you would expect that from the left, but not from your own. I fail to see the problems with Trump. Whatever his flaws may be, and he certainly has some, they certainly no worse than those of the perfumed elites. Theirs are just hidden, the nasty things they do and say are done behind closed doors, and only once in awhile do we hear about them. They are vulnerable to blackmail and because they did not earn their wealth in the private sector, vulnerable to bribery. Trump’s sins, on the other hand are well known, and he has great personal wealth. Why can’t you people see that the Washington elites are no better than Trump, and a lot of them are far worse. Don’t you think those arrogant puffed-up self important politicians would not like to be dictators if they could manage it. And very very few of them could make it in private life? Certainly, they would not have the success Donald Trump has had.

How cute. One of FR’s surrender monkeys has made an appearance to wave a white flag and bow before Hillary.
