Our President, a self-proclaimed Christian, visited a mosque in Baltimore a short time ago for the first time in his Presidency. During a press conference held at the mosque, Obama said that Muslim Americans keep us safe and that Islam has always been a part of America. There has not been a time in my memory when Obama has described the nation’s Founding Fathers with similar reverence. But of course, the Founders were basically Christian and used Christian principles in the drafting of the documents that are the foundation of our country.
Americans should be embarrassed by this man and his indiscriminate love affair with Islam. Muslims are guilty of murders, bombings and the support of a global Islamic caliphate that calls for attacks against the American people in order to bring instability and destruction to the American culture and way of life. Yet Obama persists in claiming that Muslims are victims of Islamophobia; that Muslim children are being bullied and Mosques are being vandalized.
Obama tells us that Muslims are part of the American family. But how is this possible when over half of all Muslims in the U.S. agree that jihad against America is acceptable while stating that the nation should be governed by Sharia?
And where was Barack’s sense of liberal outrage, given that women were segregated from the male audience during his talk at the mosque, positioned far away in a balcony, unable to see the president as he spoke of their husbands and brothers being “part of the American family.†Shouldn’t these second class citizens receive better treatment, Mr. Obama?
The president made use of well-worn straw man when he said, “we have to understand that an attack on one faith is an attack on all faiths.†I don’t remember Christians beheading people, shooting...
