Bush denies, but....
Yesterday, we talked about how it appears Jeb has seen the writing on the wall. It seems pretty clear that the Bush campaign is headed for the end, and only a miracle in South Carolina will save them. No candidate says âI should stop campaigning, maybeâ unless theyâve already realized thatâs the case.
Now we have further confirmation that this is the case. According to a piece (also published yesterday) by Erick Erickson, the Bush campaign has burned through hundreds of millions, has less than $15 million left, and will stop paying its staff on Saturday.
He certainly breezed through all that money. What a waste of money it was as well.
“campaign ends tomorrow”
Women and children hardest hit.
You forgot. Second half:
ALL YOU FOLKS THAT HAD PLANNED TO VOTE FOR BUSH NOW VOTE CRUZ!
Hey it worked once
I think it will probably save his mother from future risk from him dragging her out in all kinds of weather to pimp a dead horse.
Ought to be enough left for a hell of a wrap party!
I wish I were down to only 15 million.
Yep.... Bush plans on dropping out. Don’t waste your vote. VOTE CRUZ!
Do it Yebbie. I want that Scotch, and tomorrow night would be the perfect time for it.
He can burn through $15 million in one day? He IS QUALIFIED to be President.
LOL! country song?
And he’s gonna need that $15 million to live on.
He should let me know when he’s 53 million in the hole.
I might set up a GoFundMe site for him, or...maybe not.
Hopefully, the RNC/GOPe/Open borders thugs/elites can find another couple of hundred million $s to dump on the upcoming elections.
The more money they waste on Jebe and Rubot, the better America will be.
And in other new, Cruz just picked up 6 new voters!
Well, that sure will send a clear message to the young shrubs on the Bush Legacy Farm their chances of ever winning a nomination are zero.
He should get the job.
Anyone who can waste that much money on obvious fruitless efforts in such a short amount of time is a born politician through and through.
Every politician says they are in it til the end. But numbers, especially those following the $ sign, can be a very inconvenient factor. In the long run there comes a time when you need to man up and accept defeat. I have always marveled at the arrogance of candidates cluttering a debate stage, with each speaking of “when I am President...”
And all the while I am thinking, “all but one of you are going to have to learn to live with disappointment.”
