Ted Cruz began his Monday with a somewhat contentious interview on Fox & Friends. Contentious because at least two of the three co-hosts are Trump supporters. Which two? Watch the body language in the right hand frame at the 7:25 mark, when Sen. Cruz points that Trump has given money to Jimmy Carter, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid: ...

Trump was in business at the time representing himself, not elected representing constituents.

I’ll give Trump a pass on NYC politicians and Schumer. I agree, there’s a business decision in there. I’ve known developers who needed friends locally and made donations to the democrats in office. I do question support of Pelosi and Reid. Yes, they had power, but little to no local needs are met. One could argue Nevada and his investments in Vegas, but I don’t see the direct tie between Reid and a hotel on the strip unless he was as generous or more with the Republican governor and Republican Senate candidates.

I refuse to join NRA because they financially supported 'Dirty Harry 'and other gun control sell-outs .
I agree with them in principle , even though I have no handguns ,.. but I vote with my dollars !

This is a distinction without a difference. No conservative, whatever their position, would give $100K to the Clinton Foundation or support progressive Senators or Congressmen.

Trump funded Clinton sycophant McAuliffe against Tea Party endorsed Cuccinelli in VA in 2014.
Cuch lost the race by a close margin.
Thanks Donald.

There was a time when all a “conservative” would need to disqualify a candidate was news he donated to the Clinton Foundation or Al Sharpton. Sadly, those days appear to be long gone.

Trump hated conservatives so much that he denigrated and demeaned them and funded the opposition. Now, since he couldn’t take over the Democrat party, he’s trying to trick people into letting him take over the Republican party. Don’t fall for it.

It doesn’t matter Ted.
What we want is to kill the old system, and you’re out playing 1950’s politics.
