GOP presidential contenders Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio continued their ongoing feud over immigration during Saturday nightâs debate, but as the vocal South Carolina audience got involved, the pair let the insults fly. Cruz said Rubio âsupports citizenship for 12 million people here illegally. In addition to that, Marco went on Univision in Spanish and said he would not rescind President Obamaâs illegal executive amnesty on his first day in office,â Cruz said. âI have promised to rescind every single executive action, including that one.â Rubio wasnât having any of that. âWell first of all,â the Florida senator replied, âI donât know how he knows what I said on Univision because he doesnât speak Spanish.â With that, Cruz responds to Rubio in Spanish.

the left hook was by a lightweight against a heavyweight.
We know will win that fight with a knockout blow

Neither .. it was important to let Rubio that Cruz did understand what Rubio was saying.
Although Cruz doesn’t claim to speak Spanish, I’m sure he must have picked up a few things from his dad.
I thought it was stupid of Rubio to challenge Cruz.

There has been a rumor around that Cruz does not speak it but he is my senator and I could care less. If Rubio thinks it is so important he needs to move to Mexico. Cruz needs to keep trying to stay out of the sewer fighting with Rubio because the little guy is such a cold faced great liar. Do not take the bait and attack donnie on an intellectually higher plain where the yankee thief is lost. Trump was so lost on the international discussions last night. I think Rubio heard the same rumor, which is why Rubio said how would Cruz know what Rubio said in Spanish... And Cruz dispelled the 'rumor'. I think Rubio's motor mouth got the better of him, because he is one of those types that thinks so long as he is talking he is winning... When Cruz began speaking Spanish, Rubio continue talking over him.. Both looked and sounded like they were in parallel universes... I found the whole thing funny.

Oh sure, everyone knows about Cinco de Mayo, but Obama apparently knows something we don't (and note his perfect inflection):

“Does anyone know what Cruz said to Rubio in Spanish? “
Actually, I thought Cruz was speaking Canadian, his native language.

I think it is sad that being able to speak Spanish should even be considered a plus to be President of an English speaking country

"Austrian" is GERMAN. That's what the "Governator" and seven-time Mr. Universe spoke. Jawohl. Apparently The Won doesn't understand this. Please see here

Recall Dubya speaking Spanish and the libs dunning him because his Spanish was ‘common’ or ‘slang’ dialect?
Never heard him speak it after that.
Honestly didn’t know Cruz spoke it, or care one way or the other.
