Coming hot off his win in New Hampshire -and with a significant amount of his time devoted to South Carolina- itâs little surprise that Trump is 16-17 points ahead. It appears that the only demographics that Trump isnât currently winning are 18-29 year-old voters and self-described âvery liberalâ voters, who prefer Rubio and Kasich, respectively. Evangelists prefer Trump to Cruz by a margin of 10 points â a significant change from Iowa, where Cruz led with evangelical voters by four points.
When respondents were asked of their second choice for the nomination, Rubio and Cruz command the first and second spots (within 2 points), with others trailing closely.
The poll was conducted for the Augusta Chronicle, Morris News Service, and Fox 5 Atlanta.

Bernie didn’t need them in Iowa? About 5 more votes and he would’ve won.
Announced it where?
Kasich goes up with new ads in South Carolina

John Kasich, fresh off his second-place finish in New Hampshire, is out with two new ads
I hope Jebisito can beat that slimey Rubes.
Yes, it is. But there is a long way to go and Trump has many, many enemies, and the other candidates are formidable in their own way. That being said, if this poll is somewhat accurate and Trump can come out of SC with a NH type win, he’d have great momentum with for NV and FL. IF he wins those, it should be over at that point.
They were reliable enough in New Hampshire even though Trump outperformed the polls by 4 points.
Don’t want to put a damper on everyone’s excitement but Carson announced yesterday he was going to win South Carolina.
Bill Kristol poll was fiction of his mind, if Rush quoted that, he is another moron.
Trump will be doing big events in SC all of next week.
I think that is a national poll, so while it may indicate a trend that is positive, it doesn’t really matter in SC, NV, FL, etc. The state by state polls are more critical, IMO. But good news, nonetheless.
Yeah, I saw that. Praise Yaweh!!
Your habit of mindless Cruz boting and infantile snarking have removed your posting for any consideration by rational people
Trump ought to just pack up and go home.
I've posted a couple of times elsewhere that Ted's Elmer Gantry, hyper-Christian routine will not go over as well in the South as in Iowa. Southerners can spot religious hypocrisy or overkill a mile away and they don't like it.
That routine will hurt more than help him among southern evangelicals.
Bearing false witness? so political data interpretation that happens to contradict your happy feelings about a candidate.... now equates to spreading malicious personal gossip...
Assuming you are a Trump supporter, how about the 7th?
Kristol’s imaginary poll is befitting an imaginary conservative. What a tinkerbell.
Carson has 5% in this poll so he’d better hurry.
Their Iowa poll incorrectly called Trump the winner and heavily underestimated Cruz by 8 points, and only 1 day before voting. They gave double the vote to almost all of the candidates under the top 4. They seem to have a magic way of finding voters for candidates no one likes.
Their Iowa poll:
⢠Donald Trump: 20.1
⢠Ted Cruz: 19.4
⢠Marco Rubio: 18.6
⢠Ben Carson: 9.0
⢠Rand Paul: 8.6
⢠Jeb Bush: 4.9
⢠Mike Huckabee: 4.4
⢠John Kasich: 4.0
⢠Carly Fiorina: 3.8
⢠Chris Christie: 3.0
⢠Rick Santorum: 2.1
⢠Undecided: 2.2
Actual:
100% reporting Delegates Vote %
Cruz (won) 27.6%
Trump 24.3%
Rubio 23.1%
Carson 9.3%
Paul 4.5%
Bush 2.8%
Fiorina 1.9%
Kasich 1.9%
Huckabee 1.8%
Christie 1.8%
Santorum 1.0%
Gilmore 0.0%
‘’People underestimate how effing smart Trump is. His rough language and occasional profanity is an assault on “political correctness” which is, as we all know warfare of the Marxist left using diction and word choice. HIS LANGUAGE IS A POLITICAL STRATEGY!!!
Trump is single handedly setting the political correctness, cultural fascism movement back decades. He is bulldozing. The real estate guy is bulldozing the land and resetting the foundations. Trump IS not a candidate, he is a counter revolution.’’

Absolutely!!
Alexander the Great knew that if he could change the language, he could change the mind. He made his conquered lands learn Greek. This changed the mentality of those peoples, and still impacts the thinking process today, and in our country and culture.
When Political Correctness happens, it puts the tongue in a box, but more than that, it alters the mind from where speech comes, and in turn, changes the heart of a matter. the mind ends up in a box, and it’s ideas become boxed right along with it.
Freedom and slavery are also a state of mind. You can take the man out of slavery, but it’s much harder to take the slavery (mentality) out of a man.
Trump is brilliant.
BTW, one of the SC state congressmen endorsed Rubio. A classic case of a mind which has been trained to globalism.
