Coming hot off his win in New Hampshire -and with a significant amount of his time devoted to South Carolina- itâs little surprise that Trump is 16-17 points ahead. It appears that the only demographics that Trump isnât currently winning are 18-29 year-old voters and self-described âvery liberalâ voters, who prefer Rubio and Kasich, respectively. Evangelists prefer Trump to Cruz by a margin of 10 points â a significant change from Iowa, where Cruz led with evangelical voters by four points.
When respondents were asked of their second choice for the nomination, Rubio and Cruz command the first and second spots (within 2 points), with others trailing closely.
The poll was conducted for the Augusta Chronicle, Morris News Service, and Fox 5 Atlanta.

But where is everybody else? NBC? CBS? ABC? Reuters? Gallup?
Picking their feet in Poughkeepsie?
I just read the datasheet. Unless they are lying (and why would they) it looks pretty good for Trump.
But I am checking my expectations. Remember Iowa. This could end up being a squeaker.
Hope for a Trump blowout, be ready for a squeaker.
These are exciting times! Finally!
thats just cuz people in south carolina dont have anything else to do
LOL - remember the longest journey starts with one step forward... or 29 ...
Is this English? 1/2 of 2/3 of 1/4 of one half. Cruz is not going to be the nominee, that's the fact Jack. Cruz supporters who have been drinking the Kool-Aid refuse to accept reality, get you head out of the polls and stop looking for arithmetic that suits you. Trump will win the nomination and will win the against either of the two nitwits in the Jack-Ass party.
” the longest journey starts with one step forward... or 29 ...”
And we are on our way!!
Trump under performed in Iowa because of his lack of organization. Everyone in New Hampshire said the same thing that he had no organization, but it didn’t matter in a high turnout primary.
Trump will easily win South Carolina. Nevada may present issues because it is a caucus state but hopefully he is boosting up his organization for the caucus states after the Iowa loss.
Thank you so much for the Ping. YUGE!!
I like that!
Cruz can not get over 19%. Is that why he is going negative in a desperate attempt.
YES!!
RCP just released new #s for South Carolina Presidential Primary.
Basically,, Trump +17!
Amazing internals!
Hope they hold throughout the vicious cycle of campaign ads.
I’ve never been swayed by a campaign ad, so I’m always rather astounded whenever I hear someone say, “that ad did it for me.” RLY? How shallow!
OH WOW!
Thanks very much for alerting me!
Absolutely!
You’re most welcome! Those are some happy numbers, what a great way to end the week!
Why do you ignore the beam in your own eye?
Go Trump!
