A few weeks back, Tommy Robinson, former leader of the English Defence League, sent me his self-published memoirs, called Enemy of the State. The book has been largely ignored by most of the established media, although has caused a bit of a stir among counter-Jihadist groups across Europe. Iâd recommend people read it, although perhaps not for the reasons Tommy would like you to.
First up, I should say something about how itâs written. Itâs chronological, starting from his childhood, and runs right up to the end of 2015. Tommy Robinson, whatever you think of him, has had a busy and interesting few years: football hooliganism, starting, running and quitting the biggest street movement of a generation, repeated prison spells, joining a think-tank, all before organising a UK branch of the German anti-Islam group, Pegida.

What about Tony Robinson? This article was about Tommy Robinson. If we follow this to its logical conclusion, someone would need to post that picture of “Jim Thompson” with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
In Thailand.
You know, the wonderful documentary The Sorrow and The Pity explored the idea that it was society’s rebels and losers who joined the Resistance against Nazism. They had nothing to lose, unlike their middle-class fellow citizens. Why am I not surprised that the anti-jihadists may come from the dregs of society - or at least the poor?
Tony Robbins, the motivational speaker?
Baldrick was hilarious. Lol
He meant Tony Thompson.
That's why I looked at it.
I have a negative view of Islam. There, I said it. Now what?
Are you Tommy or Tony?
I’m the mother of six children. Islam is their enemy.

This Tommy Robinson, a sort of street-savvy rabble rouser, and very nearly a thug, has managed to tap into a lot of the latent feeling that the Muslim Invasion of England has largely been at the expense of the people indigenous to the British Isles. English culture is being smothered, not by being replaced by a superior one, but by a different kind of disrespect for law and tradition, and the clashes are often head-on and brutal.
The resolution being hoped for by the authorities, that Muslims will assimilate and settle down to being “good English fellows”, is rapidly being dispelled by the open defiance of the Islamic communities for any kind of compromise with their English (or Welsh, or Scots, or Irish) neighbors.
Neva happen, GI.
These people are ruthless conquistadors, and they have no intention of surrendering one inch of the territory they have claimed. Thus, the sort of underground resistance that has grown up to help quell these invaders, as typified by Pegida and EDL.
These vigilante groups may not prevail, but they are buying a little time for the rest of the English folk to rally around to preserving what is left of England.
Which may or may not happen.
Last weekend, my church had a Koranic scholar come to speak about Islam. I was silent through the historical discussion, and then from the pulpit, he said, “The Koran is only full of peace, love and tolerance.”
I stood up and loudly asked, “What about the 109 verses calling for the death of the infidel and making war on the unbeliever?”
I was kicked out the event with my youngest child, staff furious with me for “being rude” and inappropriate. I said he had lied from the pulpit, why wasn’t that considered inappropriate. I had a list of the most violent passages and orders from the Koran, ready to share if necessary.
I was later told he NEVER answered that question. They all just ignored that 80% of the Koran is death to those who won’t convert, memoirs of a conqueror, OK, you can live if you pay extra taxes.
I’m dealing with the social rejection right now, where being silent and nice is more important than standing up for what is right.
Stand up to the bullies and the propagandists and stand your ground! Good for you! You will be in my prayers at my Bible study tonight!!!
Wait! I'm not a hooligan!

The minister considered it more important to be nice than stand up for what is right (the truth), and that perceived outreach to Muslims was more important than actual dialogue.
