I remember seeing the opening of "Rollerball" at a Seattle cinema.

Cool for 1975.

Was like the original Hunger Games. Even had a pretty good sound track, as I remember, for its day.

Rollerball is an AWESOME movie. James Caan’s two great roles were Jonathan E. in Rollerball, and Sonny Corleone in Godfather I. Everything else he’s done is at best second rate, IMHO.

There was a remake of Rollerball in the last decade. It is awful. I turned it off after about 15 minutes. No resemblance to the original except that skates were present in both movies.
