The major media has morphed from a watchdog to a lapdog barking on cue that everything is all right, there's nothing to see here, move along
Joseph Goebbels, Hitlerâs Minister of Propaganda said, âIf you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.â
Progressives and the Big Lie(s):
When faced with the highest levels of unemployment in American History why does the government trumpet a falling unemployment rate? In the face of overwhelming evidence of ineptness at best in Benghazi why do our hacks and their flacks insult us with answers like, âDude this was two years ago!â With the obvious politicization of the IRS why does the president tell us there isnât even a smidgen of corruption in the IRS while professional bureaucrats who really run this country take the 5th, stonewall, and lie?
Because there is zero accountability. Whatsoever. None. Zip. Nadda.
Make a mistake/commit a crime in government: “We’ll vote you out in a few years.
Make a mistake/commit a crime in private sector: “You’re fired.”
Cause you like it...
>>Why Do They Lie to Us Over and Over?<<
Because it works!
(or used to work)
I understand why those who get a check from the government go along with the lies. But why do hard working, God fearing Americans, including us, go along?
We don dont want to admit it. But we fall for demagogs who tell us what we want to hear when what they say is totally inconsistent with their actions.
They don’t even get voted out anymore; look at Obama’s re-election in 2012. Despite the most visible of failures (high unemployment, inflation in food prices, lack of improvement for urban areas), he still won.
Who, the media, the politicians, or the experts?
