In July of 2008 Obam asaid he would be POTUS for "the next 8-10 years" (see http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/warner-todd-huston/2008/07/20/obama-ill-be-president-next-8-10-years ). That implies that something would happen to keep him POTUS for 2 years beyond his 2nd term. It would have to be some kind of cataclysmic emergency toward the end of his 2nd term.
Over his 2 terms Obama has made sure that our southern border is wide open, knowing that our Islamist enemies have targeted us through that hole. He has gotten rid of secular Middle East leaders who have support our anti-terrorist activities and replaced them with Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS, etc. He has armed ISIS and God-only-knows who else through the loss of 20,000 Manpads in Libya. He is imporing Syrian "refugees" even though we know fake passports are being created by terrorists so they can enter the country. He has made sure that Iran has nuclear capabilities, which they have always said they would use to nuke the "Big Satan" (US) and "Little Satan" (Israel).
Now it is nearing the end of his last term. Our borders are wide open, our missile defense doesn't cover threats from the southern hemisphere, and Obama's regime "accidentally" sent a Hellfire missile to Cuba (southern hemisphere) and called Iran to tell them where they could pick up a couple of our well-equipped boats (and the sailors aboard them). North Korea has done a nuclear test which supports claims that they (and by extension Iran) have a nuke that could be used for an EMP attack from the southern hemisphere - which, again, is being left UNPROTECTED.
Obama planned something big at the end of his 2nd term, Obama's communist and Islamist buddies are able to attack at any time because nobody has taken seriously the BIGGEST Constitutional duty of the federal government (protecting this nation from invasion), and the dems don't seem very worried about either Trump or Cruz ever being POTUS, nor are they very concerned about Hillary possibly being in jail by election time and Sanders being a nutcase. Maybe they know how Obama intended to be POTUS for 8-10 years...
It seems to me that we are ripe for an EMP attack sometime between now and Jan 20, 2017. Below are some articles about the risks.
My question: how could we head this off at the pass? What can be done to actually protect this country from the Foreign Enemy Combatant-in-Chief, before he has time to have his proxies - the world Islamists and communists whose crimes allowed him to be installed as POTUS in the first place - attack us?
Military people, how can we defend this nation? What should Ted Cruz and Donald Trump be using their audiences to accomplish right now, to ensure that if an election takes place the President-elect will not be ousted by an Iranian EMP attack instead?

It would be more than we deserve from them, after the crap Obama has put them through. But is it even possible?

Seems like everybody thinks we’re NOT entering a very dangerous time. Kartographer, I know you take your family’s protection very seriously. Do you have any thoughts about this?
Of course, but what can you or I do about it? Nothing. So I make plans to deal with the aftermath. No point in worrying about things I can’t control.
I’m preparing for the aftermath too, but it seems crazy that nothing can truly be done. Does a nation HAVE to be defenseless, even while we’ve got a government spending so much money that the whole world doesn’t have enough money to pay back the debt they’ve racked up? Can we really spend that kind of money and still the best we can do is to be sitting ducks watching the guy in our White House set us up to be sent back to the stone age by his buddies who have promised to do just that once they get what Obama has now given them?
Something doesn’t seem right about this. Is it that there is no physical way to protect ourselves, or is it that we have no will to protect ourselves?

Good synopsis. Hard to believe all that has happened in our fundamental transformation.
And if such a scenario were to happen, I have no idea and not much faith if we are prepared to attempt to prevent such an attack with our military technology, or come back from it.
It’s a scary thought.

How would we protect ourselves from the damage he’s already done?
As I was looking up references I noticed that our southern defense has ALWAYS been a problem and it’s never been fixed because our enemies couldn’t attack from there and/or didn’t have the nuke to do it with. So we’ve got a lenient attitude about it that goes way back. Trouble is, Obama has made sure that our enemies now have the capability of hitting us from the southern hemisphere and they have the nukes to do it with. Whole different ballgame.
One of the articles mentioned a portable radar system that we’ve got, and said the “quick fix” would be to move that to here. If that’s all it would take immediately, why hasn’t this been done?
I was hoping maybe some military people would know more about this and would comment. There’s GOT to be something we can do.
Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.
Funny that somebody supposedly just being stupid has aligned himself over his entire lifetime with people who expressly intended to destroy this nation in precisely the way this “stupid” person has done, and everything he’s done serves those purposes. A person acting stupidly could not be right on target EVERY time; it would be random. Sometimes the stupidity would favor the US; sometimes it would go against us. But Obama CONSISTENTLY damages the US. Every time.
Once is an accident; twice is coincidence; three times is enemy action. I think we’re on about 100 right now... I don’t buy the “just stupid” explanation. Obama has a 100% track record on his “stupidity” hurting the US and helping the people he has aligned himself with his whole life long (communists and Islamists who have said they would destroy America in precisely this way).
I’m not denying that the tool in the White House is a malicious enemy bent intentional sabotage. But I do believe he’s a tool in the hands of others, lazy, possibly an alcoholic or drug addict, not very bright, and lacking in basic math skills.
Yet for being so inept he has perfectly executed the exact same steps as if he was a Manchurian candidate...

Somebody commented here that Obama doesn’t like being POTUS and just wants to get out. I suspect that 10 years was his contract - he had to be a place-holder for 10 years to give his owners and their installed operatives time to complete the destruction of the USA. He probably thinks he will retire to some great Paradise on earth where he can yuk it up with the stars. I don’t think he realizes what communists and Islamists do with their puppets after they’re all used up...
The Obastard would have to get all 57 states to agree.
I don’t know where he is going to pick up the extra seven states, but he does have a phone and a pen.
