Last week, President Obama delivered his final State of the Union address. In the lead-up to the speech, there was a lot of discussion about the nature of the president's legacy. Less discussed, however, was that most of the president's so-called legacy may not outlast his presidency, since most of his supposed achievements have never been enacted into law.
Early on in his presidency, it became clear that the president didn't have much interest in working with Congress in a bipartisan manner, and after losing large majorities in the House and Senate, he made it clear that he did not want to listen to the American people, who had overwhelmingly rejected his far-left agenda. His determination to circumvent Congress and ignore the American people has not only been an affront to the democratic process and an attack on the balance of power our Founding Fathers envisioned, it has also failed as a strategy for securing long-lasting achievements.
As a result of his contempt for Congress and his unwillingness to engage with the legislative process, the vast majority of the items that make up the president's "legacy" - including the national energy tax, executive amnesty, and the flawed Iran deal - are not actual laws. Instead, the president's legacy is largely made up of regulations, executive actions, and executive agreements, most of which can be easily overturned by the next administration.

After he's FINALLY gone, all his unconstitutional orders can be rescinded and his legacy will be rightfully disposed of in the ash can of American history.
I seriously hope and pray we can deprive him of that.
Caliph Baraq was an exceptional candidate (powered of course by his dream team of advisors) and a terrible POTUS.
Hopefully, some of Obama’s abuses can be used against him and the Democrats. For example, there must be a list of all the illegals that have signed up for his various unlawful “immigration” programs. They should certainly be first on the list for those being rounded up and deported.
Someday down the road when you are standing in front of a panel of bureaucrats asking for permission to have a flu shot after waiting six months to get in, tell yourself again how Obama's legacy is gone.

Today at the pharmacy, a very elderly gentleman who was ahead of me was advised the prescription he was attempting to pick up would cost $200 because the order was for capsules and his insurance will only pay for pills. They asked him if he wanted them to call the Dr. And ask him to switch it to pills and he answered yes. They said call tomorrow. I pray that gentleman can wait.
I hope you are right but the GOP has proven that they will lie about dismantling it but won't actually do it while the SCOTUS has proven that they are somehow under in Obama's pocket whenever the ACA comes up and Trump, arguably the best hope for change in DC, supports it or a modified version of it anyway so I don't see how it goes away.
