My condolences on your loss. Wife & I lost our long lived grey tabby last year (19+) who only expected us to wait on her hand & foot in return for a beatific look that said,

“My staff...I think I’ll keep them.”

And if we didn’t she let out a yowl that said,

“Hey! I’m talking to you! Get busy!”
