There is bad news for Hillary Clinton in a new poll released late yesterday by CNN. There is evidence that confidence in her is eroding among Democrats. The question below asked:
Do you think Democrats have a better chance of winning the presidency in 2016 if Hillary Clinton is the party's nominee or do they have a better chance of winning with someone else as the party's nominee?

If Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate, who would you be more likely to vote for --?
Since October, her margin of victory over Trump has shrunk from 5 points to two, well within the poll’s margin of error. Factor in the possible reluctance of people to express support for Trump to a stranger, given the media demonization, Trump may be even leading her.

That was it.
Talking to my college and high school aged offspring, nobody they know likes Hillary. The Dem-leaning ones like Bernie. The rest like Trump.
She’s getting a schlong in her Christmas stocking.
Trump has been setting his sights directly on her lately.
Every time he singles someone out they go down and he goes up. That’s why I expect him to cream her in the general. Pun intended
Ha. And that’s CNN.
So Trump is likely up 8 points.
Remember also the Trump Effect - people don’t tell pollsters on the phone they really support him... but will vote for him in the voting booth.
BOOM!
At least there’s hope for America next year. The occupation is coming to an end. Finally!
“When Carter mentioned that he talked to his daughter Ammy about something or other, I had the feeling it was over.”
I remember that. In his speech, Jimmie said that he, “... asked his daughter Amy what was the most important problem facing America?” She replied, “...nuclear proliferation.”
I believe she was about 12 years old at the time (not sure), but I thought that sure was a stupid thing to say.
Just finished debating a GOPer on Twitter who swore Trump would be crushed by Hillary, and cited the infamous george Will editorial. Then he blocked me.
I believe that was nuclear proliferation.
Yup. That, and Reagan’s famous retort “There you go again.” That little bit of gentle humor (a Reagan specialty) took away the “crazy cowboy” image that the Dems tried to hang on him. It was clear Carter was finished.
