Pat Caddell: Country Closer to Revolution Than Ever
Breitbart ^ | Dec. 17, 2015 | Dan Riehl

Posted on 12/17/2015 2:26:43 PM PST by PROCON

Veteran pollster Pat Caddell says he agrees with the premise that America today is closer to another revolution than at any time in recent history, adding, "The strength of this country comes from its people and it has a political system that is run, now, to the exclusion of its people - you have three quarters of the American people saying the government in Washington does not rule with the consent of the governed."

Caddell told Breitbart News Daily host Stephen K. Bannon that the current $1.1 trillion 2,000-plus page omnibus bill is "the greatest disaster anyone ever saw because of the deals being cut."

Caddell cited elements of the bill that are still being discovered, such as the upping of the number of foreign visas. Caddell was referring to a provision that was outrageously

“Perhaps he thinks they will re-enter afterwards and try to take over?”

Considering their heroes are Mao, Castro, the Viet Cong, Lenin, etc., quite possibly they will.

Until they figure out the bullets are real and you only get killed once forever.

I don’t think she will have to steal. She starts out with 250 electoral votes and needs only twenty more, and that may not include IA and CO in the 250.

So many Americans will always have a liking for Mao even if they nothing about him but his ugly khaki uniform.

Treason is now the Republican thing: our voters don’t even recognize it.

No matter how bad the list, so many tens of millions of Americans will think the opposite forever more.

You’re right. Flyover country will look a lot like those Korean shopkeepers on their roofs in L.A. in 1992.

Obama care was designed by communist bureaucrats. Its designed to rape peons and fill the pockets of party members.

Health care has nothing to do with it.

She starts out with 250 electoral votes..

That's a worn out myth. Regardless of how popular the drive-bys show Hillary! to be, she is just not a likeable person.

Even the low-info voter is not only concerned with finding a job but NOW he's afraid of going to the mall lest one of 0bama's buddies blows him away.

No, 2016 will be a security election. People love life more than politics.

I hate to disagree with Pat Caddell, but I must because who's going to tell and convince the vast majority of Americans [ all about the $1.1 trillion 2,000-plus page omnibus bill that is "the greatest disaster anyone ever saw because of the deals being cut."]?

As 99% of what’s ‘on the books’ is illegal/unconstitutional (let alone rubber stamped by non-writing/non-reading/non-debated ‘elected officials’), everything should be scrapped (especially all ‘case law’, as it NEVER starts on a Constitutional basis) and the process begun anew.

From the article:

“By the time you get through this bill, every special interest will have been paid off,” said Caddell. “Everyone will have done what they wanted to do. The Republicans … will have sold everything out to please the oil companies”. Caddell also chastised Republican presidential candidates for not saying anything about it in the recent debate. expressing his frustration that the issue doesn’t seem to be being addressed by any candidates, Caddell said.

“If Donald Trump wants to seal his victory, all he has to do is stand up and attack McConnell and Ryan and what they’ve just done.”

Par Caddell is a day late and dollar short. The revolution has already came and gone. It happened November 4, 2008.

I’m sorry, but is there much from 1980’s still around? Sure, the lower tax structures (which, IMO, just made the ‘rich’ shift their ‘loopholes’ elsewhere. The game is still rigged pre- vs. post-), but I can’t for the live of me remember ANY great sucking sound as a department/agency was eliminated from the taxpayer bill? I remember how ‘proud’ we all were to be....’Merican, again.

Were any great number of laws and regulations wiped from the books (did the Federal Register/etc. go from a 10 volume set to 9...9.5)?

‘Bout the ONLY thing I recall was the end-all to the illegal immigration debate when D.C. allowed millions of lawbreakers to wipe the slate clean. Not you, I or any Citizen of this great nation, but those from abroad whom violated Law upon Law and suckled from the teat while contributing nothing in return to offset the balance.

Did we turn the corner on fiscal responsibility? Begin living again under the rules of our Constitution? Restore the Rights and Liberty of a once FREE people?

For, as far as I can see, the ‘great 1980’s revolution’ is hard to compare against the one from 1776. But hell, I guess after the great revolution of the last few elections....1980 WOULD feel like 1776 for all the goods its done.

I suspect you’ll get a bit more than blank stares.

Unfortunately, those same ‘knowledgeable’ people would kick you in the teeth IF those ideals would ever be re-instituted again...for messing with those illegal/unconstitutional items THEY support.

How many pictures of those TEA Party rallies you remember with the blue/grey hairs’ signs of “Don’t touch *my* mediXYZ/SS/etc.”?? They match RIGHT up w/ the carpel-thumb-syndrome generation re: “’FREE’ education/grants”.

We, as a people, no longer have more than the IDEAL of Freedom. Most would *BEG* for the chains to be restored if had to live with the responsibilities of their choices. BEG, I say, if they WERE a Free people once more.
