In a January 5th 1996 teletype to select FBI field offices, FBI Director Louis Freeh revealed that the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), the far-left group founded by civil rights lawyer Morris Dees, had an informant living in Elohim City, a white supremacist compound whose inhabitants have been closely linked to the Oklahoma City bombing.
The Freeh teletype also revealed that Tim McVeigh, executed in 2001 for the murder of 168 people in Oklahoma City, had telephoned Elohim City asking that German national Andreas Strassmeir provide more assistance in completing the bomb which devastated the Alfred P. Murrah building. The call took place on April 17 of 1995, 2 days before the bombing.
The teletype makes it clear that the FBI had prior knowledge of the bombing plot and the SPLC had at least one informant on the inside. This individual has never been publicly identified. Neither is it known whether he reported to the FBI, to SPLC founder Morris Dees or to both.
In a 2010 interview, Jesse Trentadue-the Salt Lake City attorney responsible for revealing much of what we know today of the Oklahoma City bombing-spoke to a radio audience about the FBI, the SPLC and their advance knowledge of the event. Said Trentadue, âI mean, they clearly knew, clearly knew in advance it was going to happen. Now this is something you struggle with and I struggle with, did it go south on them, was the plan to catch the people in the act, or did they really want it to happen.â
These represent the most important questions surrounding the Oklahoma City bombing: Did the Clinton Administration FBI make...

SPLC should be classified as a hate group.
Just looking into whether it is even possible that a single fuel-air truck bomb could do all the damage done to reinforced concrete should validate your concerns.
Photos taken during the rescue operation prove this very convincingly.
Drywall and trim still intact directly adjacent to severed columns of reinforced concrete, rebar snapped off cleanly.
Yeah, that and the building being quickly demolished and the debris buried immediately.
There is much more to this story that will likely never see the light of truth.
Yes...bubba was all to quick to blame Rush Limbaugh. We need investigators to investigate the investigators.
The FBI and Southern Poverty Law Center knew in advance about the (1995) Oklahoma City bombing
IIRC, the investigation of this bombing was stopped in its tracks...I think by Jamie Gorelick....and we heard no more.
Also, IIRC, thousands of investigative records went missing.
Check out article, and # 7 , # 9 , # 10 , # 14 .

I, too, remove the license plates from my getaway vehicles to ensure that they attract police attention.
No major media nor government bureaucracies/politicians bothered to investigate any more.
IIRC, it was Jayna Davis who said some 2 dozen area surveillance videos were seized by the FBI and none ever got shown. One FBI agent, later on, when asked about the tapes, implied that they had disappeared when the FBI offices were moved.
Basically, the government shut all inquiry down.
There is scientific proof that an ANFO bomb could not produce the damage done to that building.

Think about that. You just blew up a building full of men, women, and even some children. You are fleeing the scene in a vehicle with no license plates. The officer comes up to the window. You have a loaded 9mm, fight there.
What's one more dead guy, if you want to get away?
(and if you really want to get away, what's a couple of minutes to 'acquire' a set of license plates beforehand and not get stopped?)
Either someone was stirring up business, or they couldn't keep a handle on their sting operations.
Yep, but unfortunately, they are the ones providing FedGov info and training seminars on 'hate groups' and 'dangerous radicals'.
Ever wonder why things are bassackwards? There's part of it right there.
Isn't that where they discovered the laptop with "Project Bojinca (sp?)" on it?
The plan called for using airliners to fly into buildings IIRC and because of the Gorelick wall it was never shared.
I drove around the most densely populated state with expired tags for TWO YEARS and never once got pulled over. I find it amazing that mcveigh did so and was pulled over within a couple of hours.
In a rural state when lots of cars don’t have 2 working headlights.
Lots of questions about that whole scenario.
Right. Because there wasn’t a book on the bestselling list for weeks during the 90’s with that very same scenario. Terrorists fly a passenger jet into an important building. No one would have ever ever ever thought that terrorists might do that. Never ever.
I believe that is correct, also a small underseat explosive device to pierce the center fuel tank, to be planted and left on local short hop connecting flights.
In rural states, a vehicle with no plates, expired stickers on the plates, or other violations might well stand out, partly because the herd isn’t so large. In a densely populated area, the police have other fish to fry, and the chance of getting away with something in the anonymous herd is far better.
Perhaps.
I come from a rural state though and have lots of kin who’ve driven beater cars with no tags, switched tags and expired tags for years w/o being picked up/pulled over. Certainly not pulled over within hours of taking off the tag.
