Laura Bush was more likable than Nancy Reagan, just my opinion. I am old enough to remember Jackie Kennedy. She had the best poise I have ever seen on a celebrity person.
Yeh I’m talking pure glamour when I talk about Nancy. She always had the designer gowns and she was anoexic so she looked good in them. I remember the big MSM flap at the time about how she was getting the free gowns from the designers and giving them free advertising and she should be paying for the gowns. It was ridiculous.

I have no axe to grind with the woman, but it shattered my mythological perception that seems to have mirrored yours.
It has been decades since I have seen it, but it stuck with me for that long.
Her halting delivery of lines in that video was pretty bad.
It was totally unfair to her to put her in that situation. I say that, because if it was going to put her in a bad light, they should have shelved the project.
Even people who have poise are sometimes unable to come off on video as having it.
