Today the Sydney Morning Herald published yet another article by their Islamic poster boy Waleed Aly. The comment preceding the post on facebook said, "This isn't really a conversation about Islam. It's too transparent politically, and theologically illiterate â for that. The more interesting story here is one of a collapsing brand of politics."
The irony is' that quote came from Waleed Aly himself in an attempt to criticise Tony Abbott and Donald Trump. Yet it far more accurately describes Waleed and every other Islamic apologist given air time in the media.
So come on Waleed' let's talk about Islam. You rarely do.
Here are some conversation starters.
1. Is Mohamed the supreme example of a human being?
2. Does the Qur'an command muslims to 'obey Allah and the messenger?'
3. Do you follow the example of Mohamed?
4. Are you a true muslim if you reject the example of Mohamed and disobey the Qur'an?
5. Was Mohamed right to sexually abuse children, remember he married a six year old and the marriage was consummated when she was just nine? Please don't insult our intelligence by saying it was culturally appropriate. Was your prophet right or wrong?
6. Do you reject the example of your prophet or condone/excuse it?
7. Let's compare Jesus and Mohamed. Jesus was peaceful, Mohamed became increasingly violent.
8. Let's discuss how the violence in the Bible was descriptive, it was limited to a time and place, describing historic events. Whereas the violence in the Qur'an is prescriptive - open commands to all muslims, not limited to time or place. Does this make you, or ISIS, the true muslims?
9. Was Mohamed correct about gays being stoned, thrown off buildings or beheaded - or was he wrong?
10. Do you reject the verses in the Qur'an that explicitly call for muslims to strike at the necks of unbelievers and cut off their fingertips? Did Allah get that wrong?
11. Is a true muslim meant to take the Qur'an literally? Are they able to pick and choose the bits they like? Can a muslim actually determine what Allah or Mohamed got right or wrong?
12. Is Allah ever wrong?
13. Was Mohamed ever wrong?
Then we could talk about beheading 800 Jews, taking slaves, punishing apostates, dhimmitude, stoning adulterers, the inferiority of women and so much moreâ¦.What about the OIC nations? Have they all misinterpreted the Qurâan and example of Mohamed too? Will you Waleed, condemn the Sharia Law practices of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran and Iraq?
It would be a fascinating conversation no doubt. However, I won't hold my breath, I think Waleed will be 'busy' that day.
Excellent questions that simply asking will lead to being called a somethin’phobe.
Bingo! This is exactly what I’ve been trying to say. Moderate muslim are you? Do you condemn Muhammad and the Koran? If not then you’re just a jihadi in gestation.
No sane literate person can read the Quran and then invite a muslim into his/her home. I wish our leaders wouldn’t invite them into our country. Our leaders are stupid, ignorant and some have an agenda. It’s getting really hard to believe Obama isn’t a muslim.
Which of our politicians will stand on the floor and recite the 109 verses of the koran that command violence against the Infidels?
bttt
You could add that the Koran discusses Mohammed four times, and talks about Jesus 26 times, mostly in very glowing terms.
And add the question where Mohammed is right now?
Itâs getting really hard to believe Obama isnât a muslim.
Lol! Now, that’s funny!

Best line of query regarding the moonbats I’ve seen. Unfortunately, just questioning along those lines will probably make the author a target of a fatwa.
ditto
