Conservative Talk Radio Hosts Don’t Reject Trump In Wake Of Muslim Ban Proposal

“Now, folks, the conventional wisdom is that Trump is scum, that Trump is a reprobate, that Trump is dangerous, that Trump is obscene, Trump’s insane, Trump’s a lunatic, Trump’s dangerous, Trump’s got to go. Why join in with that phrase? Why join that crowd?”

WASHINGTON — Conservative talk radio hosts didn’t endorse Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslim immigration on Tuesday — but they certainly didn’t condemn him and almost uniformly refrained from criticizing him or his plan.

Talk radio heavyweights Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin showed different levels of sympathy for Trump’s idea on Tuesday. These hosts, who boast large audiences of conservative listeners, have been pro-Trump to various degrees for months, and have been the most significant media engine behind Trump’s startling rise, echoing and reinforcing Trump’s rhetoric, particularly on immigration....

They’re trying to intimidate what is probably a majority of the population into pretending that the inverted reality they try to project is real reality.

This is the thing ... THEY, in reality, are a very small number of people compared to the Silent Majority. They just own everything, own the media, and therefore seem to have more influence.

That is, until Trump came along ...;)

Oh yeah, since just before the first debate she has been taking it on the chin on every website, blog, twitter and facebook page that hasn't disabled comments.

The unwashed masses ( us ) have let her have it. Almost feel sorry for the little Princess. She must have figured out by now that anyone dropping her name into Google, even her kids, is gonna come up with all manner of comments on her phony journalism.

But she earned it. She went to air under the banner of breaking news with a lowlife story from the Daily Beast accusing Trump of R*A*P*E. Then she refused to retract it even after Ivana herself shot it down. She chose this path.

So yeah, she is feeling the pain. her reputation is gone. All she has left is her legs, her boobs, and that hideous haircut.

I think everyone understands that this topic is the one that the LSM and the Uniparty are pinning their hopes to unseat Trump.

I don’t think it will work. I think that people see danger and know strong leadership is needed. When people say he wants to stop Moslim immigration my response has been “about time.”

When they say this is like Japanese interment, my response has been Yes, and there were no deaths by Japanese in this country as a result. I understand there were some detainments of Germans, and again, no Americans were killed on American soil. We were vigilant. People act like terrorism is a new invention, but there was plenty of outright terrorism as well as conventional war in the 30’s and 40’s.

I’m 54, I don’t think I’ve ever seen in my life a POTUS candidate get as much absolute venom and bile as Trump has. Seriously, when has this ever happened before? I knew it would be tough for him, but holy smoke, this is utterly completely over the top hate. This guy has been called every single name in the book and for what? For being honest? Obama wants to import 680,000 “refugees” from a terror producing country...THAT is OK, but Trump saying “Hey let’s hold off on that a minute” makes him Hitler? Is there something we suddenly owe to foreign Muslims or did I miss that?

Got 9 years on you and can attest that even Bork (or even Reagan and Ollie North) didn't get this kind of vitriol.

The fun part is that with over 75% of those polled agreeing with Trump, the more his enemies use this, the weaker they become and the stronger he becomes....

Yeah that Red Eye host is very against Trump. He’s often on Kennedy’s FBN show panel and makes it pretty clear. Other shows are more balanced. Charles Hurt, Laura Ingrahm and others have been making the rounds telling the truth.

Bottom line, when the so called Right has to resort to emotional arguments, and they do on immigration/refugee/muslim issues, it’s transparent and intelligent people tune it out.
